Why would that matter? I don't have guns just to defend myself. I hunt, I target practice for fun, and I compete in matches.

Guns are just fun. People forget about that aspect a lot

it would help you get it to more healthy levels, i know a bunch of hunters and would like a gun of my own just to shoot for fun, but its such a hassle (and expensive) that i just cant be bothered and so far my life is just fine without guns.

I'm not obsessed with them, but if someone told you that you can't play video games or watch R rated movies anymore because sometimes they lead to bad results wouldn't you push back? I have a problem with people telling me that I flat out can't do.something when I'm minding my own business and not hurting anyone else.

well the thing is video games dont kill people and neither do movies, im well aware of the negative effects of both, but these things are not controversial or under debate.

I also totally agree that if you are responsible with your guns you should be able to have them, but wouldnt you agree that there has to be a change of some kind in USA?
in my country hunters have hunting rifles but they are required to store them in a safe, they are responsible for their guns and what is done with them, people dont get guns without very good reasons to have them and hence there are no school shootings and basically no gun crime.

USA is a shithole where you need a gun, but thats mostly because of niggers and every criminal having a gun.
