Good luck
Shit will kill you. Just dont drink it and you'll be fine
time stamp
Are you at a krogers?
Save for community/technical college. It'll be a pain and take a year or two, but trust me: you'll live a much better life if you do. Get an associate's degree in something you can get a job in, like programming or accounting. Working a boring desk job that pays well and isn't taxing on your body is better than working a boring physical job that pay shit and destroys your spinal column by age 50.
Heard they’re great to work for congrats op
>that skin
>that hair
>those eyes
go back to mexico or wherever
leak company secrets for internet points
>like programming
Jesus christ, how much I hate you fucking computer science math fags. Go fuck yourself you piece of shit
DO get a fucking degree..that job is nothing to be proud of unless your a felon or 16 and can't get a job elsewhere
>proud of
Proud of what? Job is only need for getting money, nothing else, you stupid bitch.
That's not a job, that's hard labor
proud of being a more valuable wagecuck who gets a little more while earning his boss disproportionately more too
Nigger be proud you've got a job how about that? Shit might not be glorious but if it keeps a roof over your head THATS something to be proud of. Build a life outside of work you can have pride in. Fuck taking pride in a company that dgaf about you.
Start wearing more SUICIDAL merch
a "job" will get you gas money and a shitty one BR apt. A career will get you pussy. Stocking shelves is a shit JOB
YOU are the true wagecuck wagecuck'd bitch lasagna
88 cents for a 2liter? where is this? I drink a lot of diet ginger ale
Drop that pallet and you better be wearing steel toes.
>Merchandiser
fucking kek
>a carrier
Fuck off you merican nigger. I don't need to be a "successful" piece of shit with a shaved baby face in an ugly suit to get pussy. Only in your shitty country your social status is means something to the whores.
No you don't, faggot.
>Merchandiser = Stockboy
Face that shit properly, you silly spic.
Assistant managers will flex on you at Walmart and Krogers. Just do what you gotta do and gtfo.
I get paid twice as much as store stockers but yes it is
>Assistant managers will flex on you at Walmart and Krogers
Why though?
>implying
I work for Coca-Cola and Wal-Mart managers are the god damn worse. Everything is a huge issue with them. They normally hate sales reps, merchers ect because they can't control you. I get paid 17\hr plus mileage (getting a raise soon , have been there for almost a year) I work anywhere from 28-35 hours per week and can't complain I work my own hours and don't have to report to anyone other than sending a picture of the shelves at the store to my boss
Congrats on writing the most autistic thing I've read today. It isn't even noon.
Good job getting the job. Pepsi pays really good. Get a back strap and save.
Spoken like a true NEET, direct from mommy's basement.
Because you come in to stock freight that someone else ordered for you based on what they think that store needs. Your pallets take up backroom space that managers always want out on the floor because it doesn't sell from the backroom. Some stores will give you your own inventory space. But you have to maintain it better than some stores maintain their own inventory. And Managers will hound you to constantly clean up your space and make sure your areas on the sales floor are completely clean, neat, and organized.
>I work for Coca-Cola and Wal-Mart managers are the god damn worse.
Yeah, I'm really selling through the 22 pallets you dropped off at my store last night. I'm truly grateful that with the 5 drops a week you guys do at my store. You decide that Saturday night was the perfect night for 22 pallets of your product that we won't sell out by the time you come back again tonight.
Save your paycheck. And buy ar-15
Hide it in the pallet of soda, shoot up the whole fucking Walmart.
Reported to the fbi
I was a zone manager at wal mart and I agree with this. I also recommend the bit about shooting the whole fucking place up.
You're exchanging your time for money, why not get a degree and exchange your time for vastly more money per hour?
You're a Coke merch and you only work 28-35 hrs a week?
Get your class B liscence and haul trash this is easy to do and you make great money.
It's not a bad job OP but you don't want to be doing it forever. It can fuck your back and feet up over the years. If they'll help you you should get your CDL. If stocking shelves is what you want to do the rest of your life try to get a job for Frito-lay. Better pay and benefits and usually those jobs net you commission which and be pretty lucrative depending on your route. Also boxes of chips don't weigh as much as cases of sugar water.
wrong. i know people that have retired from coke and 7up. you also dont need a good job for pussy you idiot. i got tons when i worked part time at walmart when i was young. I fucked most the girls going to college there. i was there age, but a bum working at wm full time. I'm rich now with a pregnant wife and big house, but shes also been with me when we had nothing. i borrowed money to eat from her once about 4 months into dating. point is, just have confidence, a sense of humor, and try to take care of yourself.
The point is that you didn't get rich stocking shelves for Pepsi, so you shouldn't lead people to believe that such a job is anything more than just that: a job. It isn't a career, and OP should certainly be looking for ways out.

Coke bottlers don't like paying overtime especially for merchandisers. Unless you're a non-bulk driver merchandiser(the trucks that fill little convenience stores) they will usually be happy to schedule you a route that gives you as few hours as you want so long as the shelves get stocked.
There's tons of people that started out in warehouse and merchandising and are in executive roles in the companies now. I can't speak for every bottler of Coke and Pepsi but they do invest in their employees and anyone that wants to move up in the company usually does.
I made $56k as a Merchandiser last year. 45-50 hrs a week+ mileage. Yeah it's manual labor but I don't student loans and have a house
I don't know how your company runs but i work at a "third party distribution company" we jave a contract to distribute a major companies product but arent actually part of them, anyways at our company the natural path of advancement is merch to sales to sales management. Or like another said try to get them to help you get a cdl
>Coke bottlers don't like paying overtime especially for merchandisers.
Really? They always work late in my area
Make good relationships with your accounts, don't half ass or they will call your supervisor and make you do double work
-Walgreens Manager
It can depend on the company. The Coca-Cola company doesn't usually bottle its own products so it sells franchising rights out to regional companies. I've worked for 3 Coke bottlers, and each one liked to be tight on hours, no overtime except on holiday weeks. Each company does run a little different though.
Get yourself some ankle braces, a contoured back rest, and some non-slip steel toe shoes. Soak your feet in epsom salt daily and spend a little money for a deep tissue massage every couple of weeks. Also keep up a healthy diet.
If you do your job well, in time you could become a district manager such as myself.
How long did that take? What's the process?
Merchandiser>Sales Rep>merch manager>sales Manager?
Just do your job the best you can and keep your eye out for new or better jobs. Does your facility service and deliver coolers and vending units? Those jobs may prefer someone with HVAC experience but if you're already part of the company they may be more willing to give you the job and train you. Less paperwork that way. Do they have a reset department? The Pepsi reset guy I know retired from his job in my facility. Resets seem to work hard the first half of the year and the second half just take it easy. If you're young, have no kids, and considering making this company a career I would suggest chipping in at least the maximum that the company will match for your 401k also. You can always roll that amount into an IRA or something if you decide to leave and you'll have a nice chunk of change to retire on when you're old.
Become good friends with the people who are also in charge of stocking their areas. Usually they'll be willing to help you from time to time.
