ITT: explain why you're so bad at this game
ITT: explain why you're so bad at this game
This game is already dying.
This game is legitimately not good as people claim it to be.
It’s not bad, but it’s not good.
umm, i'm not
I don't play it. Titanfall 3 when?
Because I don't even know nor give a fuck what it is.
I’m bad at it because I’ve never played it and never will. Heard people talking about it so I downloaded it. Went into the menu.
>handful of characters
>pre built classes
>virtually no customization
>another fortnight clone
I immediately uninstalled it, disappointed in developers and the gaming community as a whole for continuing to promote reskins and clones of what was already a pretty shitty game model. Seriously what is wrong with the film and game industry lately? And why do consumers keep supporting this type of behavior? Doesn’t anyone have a problem with supporting the decline of uniqueness in the gaming industry?
How do you feel about COD Blackout?
Probably because free to play. But I agree with you.
I haven even heard about it, but I will say CoD is one of the worst offenders in my mind.
>micro transactions
>constant reskins of the same game over and over
>people flock to it like flies on shit
>sometimes more than one installment in a single year
Now what I will say is this: yes, there is only so much you can do with a military based arcade shooter rpg. But, there are still options. And when there aren’t, you should end a series with dignity. Look at FromSoft with Dark Souls. They could’ve milked that franchise to many years to come. But instead they ended it in order to preserve what it is and move on to other things.
There aren’t pre built classes
>fortnite clone
you mean a BR game? so you really mean an h1z1 clone? that's also why there's little class differences. like i get you might not like BR, but don't sit there and tout it's a bad game model when that's just objectively incorrect. nobody is declining uniqueness, have you seen sports games and modern warfare? it's a similar genre, what are you even doing with yourself. might wanna call blizzard, there's a bunch of WoW clones on the loose!
Not surprised. It's a really good game, but there's just something about it that couldn't hook me in for more than 3 or so weeks. I guess that there's no sense of community. Every one just feels like a good AI npc. Although I've never been super into these kind of games, other than ARK: Survival of the fittest back when it was doing good
I'll just go back to playing squad.
>user who thinks a business should stop producing a product that makes millions of dollars with little effort in an already highly competitive and volatile industry
Never going to make it
>Nobody is declining in uniqueness
Half of your response doesn’t make much sense but that statement there is enough to discredit anything you say. Go back to FIFA and wither away with EA.
ah, the typical troglodyte nigger troll statement. so good of you to come and contribute nothing.
Meh, I'm not good nor bad. Pretty decent.
I've noticed people on the internet are using the word troglodyte a lot, yet cant incorporate it into a sentence, correctly.
>anons who's squad always died first
Im decent, literally just got done winning with 6 kills, ended as kill leader, finished solo too
Yeah, I agree. The gaming industry is an industry, but that goes back to my point about the community itself needing to stop throwing money at it. I’m not saying fault is 100% on developers. I’m just saying that people are hyping reskins of the same games over and over. I mean look at Anthem. That game is a huge screw up in every category but it paints a picture of the gaming industry and it’s biggest problems. With only 16 months to basically make the game after years of planning wasted, everything was scrapped to make a Destiny clone lootershooter because they’re easy to make and a cash cow. It’s just the same formula over and over. And even with that being the smallest problem the game has, it’s still selling copies! That’s just insane! Why even have game ratings and reviews if people just buy it anyway?
you literally stopped reading right there lmao (and you were the one who said "declining uniqueness") i went on to bash fifa. you dislike battle royale (BR) games. it's objectively wrong because those games are the most successful right now. no matter how good of a critic you might be, BR games are objectively good because they're being played. the reason games don't feel unique is because the market is absolutely saturated with them. you can't really get much creativity, it's either a platformer, rhythm, fps, survival, rts, adventure, or sport. where are you drawing the line? if two games are battle royale, they're still different. heroes of the storm and league of legends are still different games.
don't play it lol
It's an amazing game. I've been playing it forever now.
I'm playing on a laptop with integrated graphics and a bluetooth wireless mouse from 2008. I'm happy when it hits 40 fps. Idc though because people cheat at these games all the time so trying to be competitive is stupid, just fuck around and talk shit with people.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that it would be nice to have some originality. I know I’m not the only one. In fact a lot of people who agree still buy these games because if you don’t have them, it can seem like no one is ever online to play something else with. I get that. But don’t buy something because you’re bored. But it because it’s good and you genuinely want it.
Won 3 games in a row on ps4 right now
The problem is that it's almost impossible for a big company to make a unique game that's profitable. Even if they do make a good unique game it will probably only appeal to a niche group. They can't take that risks. I understand playing it safe and milking a game, but what I can't stand is when they release an unfinished game and try to milk the players with micro transactions; especially when they purposely develop it in a way so that buying in-game items with real money is the only way to make any progress without investing 100's of hours into it
>open world allowing sweaties to snipe you from 10 miles away
>mouse and keyboard niggers on console
can't wait for battle royal to die
i've notice shit sucking niggers saying that games are "dead" or "dying" a lot when they actually arent.
sniping is apex is pretty awful. you generally have to be bad to die/lose to it.
Remastered games can be a cash grab. Or they can be an improvement to what was already a masterpiece that simply didn’t age well. Ask anyone who played the original version and then played remastered and they’ll tell you it was an improvement. Loom at DS2 Scholar of the First Sin. It literally fixed so many problems from the original game that it’s not even fair to call it the same game IMO. Plays very differently. I don’t have an issue with HD remasters because they mostly tend to be beloved games and people like them for good reason.
>console
disgusting.
Fortnite is dead
Bro are you like standing still every match? Sniping is a pain in the ass in this game
not if you're a fag using mouse and keyboard on console
Doesnt matter. That's not what makes it hard. It's the path of the projectile that makes it difficult.
I completely agree with all of that. DLC, games as a service, alleged betas with micro transactions (looking at you RDR2)... they’re all perfect examples of things that we as players are supporting every time we buy these games. It’s not enough to write a negative review because no one listens to them and we already gave them our money. We have to stop buying games like that altogether. I mean, there are games that are 100% completed out there, where they deliberately remove content to later sell as “DLC”.
you know as well as i do some people go ape shit to be snipers in every game
I can't aim.
Downloaded the game, jumped in, went ten games without getting a kill. Went back and fired up TF2 just to make sure I wasn’t retarded, played one game, got 15 kills.
You tell me.
same problem, but i still felt retarded when i booted up R6
Because I've never played it.
I am sure if I put some time into it, or even watched someone play it I would be better.
I didn’t stop reading but I was being honest when I said that a lot of the post doesn’t make sense when I read it. Sorry about the FIFA comment, I thought you were saying Nice things about it. I’ll take it you were also bashing Modern Warfare as well in that case. I’m really not sure all the points you were trying to make but I still have to fully disagree with your comment about the decline of uniqueness. Yes, there are variations to every game that make it different in some ways. But when you pick up a controller and instantly feel like the game is very familiar, it’s because it is. It is very familiar because you have played it. It’s like when you eat an off brand Oreo. The package is different, maybe it’s a little crunchier, slight different amount of filling. But it’s still an Oreo.
>dying
Hardly.
People are starting to leave mainly because of the slow update rate but the total live player count is still growing
I'm terrible at everything, why would I be good at a given game?
Two reasons things aren't changing:
Industries like film and gaming only care about what brings in a profit.
Consumers who legitimately give a damn don't generate the majority of revenue.
Look up Mike Hill's power of metaphor lecture. He sums everything up pretty well.
Having done freelance work in both industries I've seen so many problems. In film people are doing what they think people will like instead of focusing on narrative and story telling. In gaming almost everything is controlled (or at least approved) by publishers and execs. If it wont guarantee profit then there's little incentive to bother with it.
You are a troglodyte.
whhattt creative differences are a thing? no way
I have a hard time aiming and holding it on the target. I'm shit at all shooters.

BRs are a dumb trend. Glad they are all finally dying
Never played it sober
