hey Yea Forums. I'd get called sexist anywhere else but I need your help. A girl im fond of is becoming a lunatic.... as they do sometimes. theres a long history of opiate abuse here. I stayed away from the stuff all these years so I don't know too much about it. If shes been on them for 10 + years how much brain damage are we looking at? is her mind even salvageable? why do women do this? Am I stupid for caring? any suggestions or advice would be really helpful Yea Forumsois

Break all contact immediatly.
If you invest yourself too much she will pull you down hard.
>on them for 10 + years
Damaged goods OP
Drop her
half my family is on that shit there is no chance she will ever get better even if she quits them completely
I figured. thanks guys. It's gunna be rough but I don't think letting this kill 2 people worth it. I can always trust Yea Forums to post good memes and be honest.
It’s hard to say exactly. Does she want to quit? Is she trying to quit? If not, yeah, get out of there
honestly I don't think so. And I can't exactly talk a lot of shit, I get a little drunk and smoke bowls after work so technically im an addict too. Although, I enjoy my sober time and take pride in being control of my life. she did too once. what happened?
Just hop on em with her. Perocets are niiiiice.
Seriously though, she won't be there for you when you need her to be, and she'll always pick that drug over you. It really numbs all pain.
>10 years
it's irreparable. You can catch them while they're falling but not after they've been down there for a decade.
OP ex heroin addict here for 9 years.
heroin doesn't damage your brain at all, really.
you will recover 100% but it takes years. and the problems that linger will be depression and shit. and they will want to get high for the rest of their life. so it will be a struggle to stay clean. and she might have to do things like uproot her entire life to get away from it. like in the future if she ever gets access to it again.
