Looking at comiting suicide this weekend. I need advice on how to prepare friends and family for the news. Any advice?

maybe, but you could always throw some benadryl in if you want. you don't need too much, just a few. Even better, to get just a little more alcohol, you could take a few shots of the alcoholic ZzzQuil or NyQuil.

Personally I've thought about doing it this way before, and I'd have a couple bottles ready, even though you probably won't need that much. Just one would probably do it. I'd take all the xanax at the start and then pound some of the liquor immediately after. Xanax is fast acting, and given the amount you'd be taking plus chasing it with some alcohol, you'll definitely notice the effects in 5-10 minutes. Keep the bottle near you if you feel like it'll help to take another shot here and there if you haven't fallen completely unconscious yet.

Oh, also, do this on a completely empty stomach. Don't eat or drink anything for a good 4-6 hours before this, except maybe a little water to hold yourself over. Everything will hit you harder and faster if it's the only thing your stomach has to work on digesting.

I'd definitely wait to have more, I hoarded 50mg from a combination of my own prescription (which they swapped to Klonopin after this attempt) my mom's prescription at the time, and about 20 bars I bought from someone else. Definitely look into getting some more. A failed attempt will knock you out for ~2-3 days, which is what happened to me. If nobody finds you, well then at you wasted your resources but you still have that. With that low a dose, you may eventually start doing things you don't remember (I also did this, even tho my dosage was higher, I was a little more resistant since I was abusing them for a few weeks beforehand). And of course, worst case scenario, you are found by some worried family member or friend who is concerned that you haven't texted back in a day or two without warning. If they find you while you're still incoherent, you WILL unwillingly tell them everything, and you WILL be committed. And that's the last thing you want.

It's prescription, that's why I can't get more. But thanks for all the info, I couldn't get it anywhere else. If I end up doing it, at least I'll be doing it right. And if I do do it, I'll see you on the other side.

Make sure not to fail, choose a method that has a high success rate like shotgun to head, train, parachuting without the parachute etc. If you fail you're in for a ride, mental institutions, hospitals, therapists, psychiatrists, meds that turn you into a zombie all that jazz, they'll keep you in a mental institution, which is basically prison you pay for, until you're good enough at pretending to be happy that they let you out. Trains in my country usually dont have the thing that pushes stuff off the tracks, just need to get the timing right and place neck on tracks. Better do it in a high speed area of the train tracks than near a station. Its quite ironic since I've been on a train when someone suicided, there was like 30 mins of delay.

Yeah, it's "possible" to kill yourself with a train, just as it is "possible" to kill yourself with a car.

But there are more effective, faster, cleaner, less painful, and more successful ways of doing it.
