No fears on my part. You have to keep up to date with technology and trends, even if your current job doesn't enable you to use them. Find a silly project at home to do. Just keep up to date!

For instance, if you're a full stack developer, you had better learn modern UI/UX developement with one or more of the major javascript frameworks. (Angular, React, Vue).

Learn about cloud services, DevOps, NoSql databases, etc. You learn that, and you have experience, then you'll always have a job.

Alternatively, be one of the only young people that's bothered to learn how to support an outdated language.

Lots of businesses are too cheap to move to a modern architecture, and the old greybeards are all retiring - so while the number of positions won't be great, there'll be even less qualified to fill them and you can name your rate.

Made a typo in my original post. I meant to write 31.

Anyway I stopped giving a fuck when I realized I'm set for life.
My grandfather left most of his holdings to my grandmother and me when he died. I was 25 at the time and even then I hadn't worked a day in my life.
When she dies everything will go to me. My only concern in life is getting married to calm my grandmother's worries.

It's funny that you ask for my political leanings since they've played a big role in my life.
My father is a liberal so he was constantly at odds with my grandparents. I'm sure that's the reason they took me in when I was in high school and why my dad got practically nothing from my grandad when he passed.

I myself am a conservative, just like my grandparents.

how does it feel like realizing that you make in one year just barely more than does in a month?

Ce genre de chose.

Very funny Tyler, do you celebrate Vietnam every year ?.

this thread is pretty meaningless without people posting their country

I worked 20 years for a large financial company that has plenty of Mainframe / COBOL applications.

The issue isn't learning the language, the real problem is understanding outdated architecture and what will almost assuredly be crazy complex logic.

I've seen many technically proficient programmers fail to thrive on these sorts of systems

Where do you live that you make that much? I do the same and make 25k doing overtime.

J'avais compris oui.

Fascinating (honestly). A conservative that has never truly experienced the real world or real responsibility. Statistics would show that this is not a fluke. What drives your desire to be conservative outside of familial influence? Conservatism would purport to be borne out of hard work ethic, the desire to use money wisely, and the preservation of family values. But you’re seemingly the poster child of entitlement, which goes contrary to everything conservatism stands for.

Which starch?

>poster child of entitlement
Well, that would mean he doesn't want his situation (or what is enabling it) to change, so conservatism.

In a retardedly conservative sense, yes.

Mind telling me more about getting into B2B sales? I practiced as an attorney until a year ago. I've been consulting since, but I'd like to go through B2B to medical device sales.

Archi faux. Archi faux.

Just a reminder that this girl bill what's her face is an industry plant that the record labels are trying to make her popular by posting her face on various social media sites
