Ultimately the underpinnings of violent sexual liaisons stem from much deeper roots than just a man who wants to have sex with a woman without her consent. Regardless the number of factors, fundamentally violence stems from suffering. As mankind moves forward, and nations become developed and wealthy - you see a decrease in violence.
