i get through it one step at a moment. sometimes i dont know how i'll make it through the day, but i know i can make it through a second. it's easy, i did it just now. and i just focus on getting through the next moment over and over until i've gotten through a minute, and then i do that again and again. i can always make it through a second, which means i can make it through a minute, an hour, a day, a week, and so on. it doesnt make the pain of life go away but it at least keeps me moving forward
A few ways:
1) Smoke pot when things get bad.
2) Eat better and get some exercise. Nothing too drastic, but positive changes help.
3) Take a mild sleeping pill to get needed rest at night.
4) Cut out toxic people from your life, including family.
5) Talk to someone. Go to therapy if you can afford it, or find a cool friend if you cannot.
In the end, you'll likely need medication for a while and therapy. Depression is a sign of illness, and just like you'd go to a doctor when sick, you need to do the same.
