Also keep in mind that it's always easy to feel that "things are getting worse", because our brain has more affinity to storing extreme moments than just the mundane. People 100 years ago also felt that things are going downhill, while actually, it's always a bit of up and down, all the time. That being said, have fun with your apparently race-based class stratification in society; not saying that we don't have any problems, but at least our classes over here are based on nationality/education, not the color of your skin.
