Jesus didn't say "Treat women equally to men because they are equally as capable as men in all dimensions." He just hung out with whores and prostitutes and didn't judge them for their lifestyle.

>Who invented feminism?

I'm going to say it was invented IMPLICITLY many thousands of years ago, when men decided that women were cattle and property.

Because when you oppress, you automatically invent resistance.

Feminists.

The only good feminists are the kind that exclude trannies

The ones that dont are the meme ones you see on social media

Is there a Feminist Manifesto online somewhere?

Because I'm sick and tired of reading some "feminist" statement and thinking "Oh, they changed it again".

A concept without a definition DOES NOT EXIST.

Been there, done that.
Seems legit

fags

There is none. It’s all individualized “gib dats” and “muh soggy knee.”
About the only thing universal across them is blaming someone else (men) for their issues but even that varies.

That sound like something a jew would invent

>women / cattle and property.
How bad do we need the milk?

Snoop Dog is generally considered to be the father of the modern feminist movement

I just hope you're kidding man bcuz that's a real retarded question

And feminists are also fighting against family courts.

It's not a single linear movement. So there's no High Priestess of Feminism. I hope you know that

Bullshit

elaborate

A concept without a definition? Donald Trump Presidency.

"A concept without a definition does not exist?"

Lots of undefined concepts exist in everyone's mind. Everywhere

What does that mean? Plenty of guys don't caree much for Family Court ACTUALLY everyone pretty much hates Family Court since...it's no fun

But she didn't. It was appealed and refused. She spent 10 months in prison.

Some dude.

Yea, because everything has to start in the USA.

Feminism is generally believed to come in several "waves" or generations, the earliest of of which largely emerged spontaneously with the suffrage movement and the whole mass democracy and civic society idea in 19th and very early 20th century. At this time, the vast majority of the so-called feminism was preoccupied with three basic requirements: Equal standing in front of law, education availability and in as democracy systems moved from tax-census to mass models, voting rights. You really can't pin-point it to a single person or even school of thought, as it was largely supported by absolute majority of enlightenist thinkers.
That said, one very, very major thinker that will play a role especially in the next stage was Engels, who adopted social evolutionarism of Morgan and Bachofen (who both believed society naturally evolved from primitive stages (matriarchy) to more advanced patriarchal one).
Engels adopted the thought, but together with Marx also declared that the transition was negative one - according to him patriarchy and private possession go hand in hand, and advocated reversion to matriarchal model as a necessary part of reaching Communist Revolution.

The feminism as we know it today really only emerges after WWII and there were few key thinkers and new thought movements. Two absolutely VITAL personalities were Simon De Beauvoir (who wrote a key book called "Second Sex") and Margared Mead (mainly "Coming of Age on Samoa").
At the same time, the Frankfurt School and subsequent philosophy of "Critical Theory" emerged in the US, formed by a group of RADICAL Marxists who emigrated from Germany to US. Key personnel were Marcus, Adorno, Horkenheimer, Pollock, Benjamin, and later on Habermas. And these people... these people basically set up like 80-90% of philosophy and fundamental argumentation of Feminism as we know it today.

Americans

Op close thread. No lulz were had.

Critical theory became the foundation of the 60's and 70's "Women Movements" in the US who basically defined the face of Second Generation feminism. With women such as Steinem, Friedan, Hanish, Solanas etc... All of these authors build upon Frankfurt school, and their approach was mixture of Marxism, Engelism and bastardised Freud theory.
From there on, the movement spread like wild-fire and became massively differenciated. However, at core, they were virtually all about saying that there is a direct analogy of men vs. women and bourgeois vs. working class: that simply put, for historical reasons, Men oppressed and exploited Women, and now is the time of revolution that will fix that.

The last MAJOR shift, however, happened in 1992 with Rebecca Walker's article "I am the Third Wave".
Third Wave moved a bit away from clear Men vs. Women strict Marxist dualism, to far more Foucaultian "all categories are forms of oppression" post-structuralism.
Third wave primarily brought forward the issues of gays, trans people, alternative sexual identities etc... So all that tranny obsession and shit: that's the "third wave". They basically say "Nobody should have any right to impose ANY identity on anyone else to begin with."

So there you go. VERY simplified crash course on history of Feminism.

>They basically say "Nobody should have any right to impose ANY identity on anyone else to begin with."
Except that's somehow become corrupted into obsessing over imposition of categories and the promotion of them in some kind of heirarchy

You missed the core of third wave, where there are no categories, except the oppressor, and the oppressed.
"Nobody should have any right to impose ANY identity on anyone else to begin with."
Isn't actually very accurate. It's more about blending ALL categories into 2 different categories, oppressor (straight white men) and oppressed (everyone else).
It's a long march sort of situation, slowly over time unite everyone against one small group.

I used to wonder why, what was the end game? But I don't think there is one. I think it's just a snowball that's gotten away from them, and is amplified by their shocking privilege.
Most people who are into feminism, think coffee just appears in their cup, and the lights turn on by pure magic, and nothing can ever not work. The roads just are, they aren't built or maintained, this just are the way they are.
If you view the world like this, like it just is what it is, unaware of the millions of people (almost entirely straight white men) in the background keeping this behemoth of a society running, it's easy to see how you can get sucked into the toxic us vs them POV.
They're ina world where everything is just there to have, but someone is just hoarding it so you can't have it.
They don't understand that some people have more, and its almost exclusively because they work so much harder.

Oh Satan, I'm sure you'll find better followers soon.

Actually, the core idea is idiotic to begin with: It did not get "corrupted", it's just lending itself into absurd conclusions because it's stupid to start with.

>You missed the core of third wave, where there are no categories, except the oppressor, and the oppressed.
I didn't. Those were already covered in the Second Wave feminism. I did not stress out enough that Third wave builds and still uses most of Second Wave's fundamentally Conflict-Theory based core - though I did mention Foucault in that respect.

>Isn't actually very accurate.
It is almost a literal quote from I am the Third Wave, actually. The idea is that anyone who tries to impose any category on anyone else is the oppressor, and since they pretend the most common categories we use on daily basis are "inventions of the white male", that logically leads to what you are describing.

>I used to wonder why, what was the end game?
It has always been the same endgame since the very Theory of Conflict has began.
It's gathering as much power and control over others as possible. Everything, from Marx (and arguably even Hegel, but mainly Marx) has had one very, VERY simple core purpose:
To justify the importance of those who declare it. Orwell nailed it PERFECTLY when he had Wilson ask O'Brian about what is the end goal for the Party, if they trully believe the world is better off that way.
O'Brian laughed and said: "Nah. It's about power. It has always been only about power."

And that is it. That is the end game. Those who advocate it do it because that way they hope they'll get more power over others. The "moral superiority" of their beliefs simply justify them being treated as authorities and frankly, get's them juicy jobs in academia and non-profit organizations or journalism.

That is the whole mystery. Conflict theory is a virus. It just tries to make the best for itself, regardless of the needs of the host.

Ignorant minds with a penchant for superstition and delusion.

Biology tells us that male dominance is the norm and that normalcy means health in terms of biology, psychology, and physiology.

The fact that fags and feminists united in this bullshit-ass movement called "LGBT rights" shows that this sums up to a bunch of loser ganging up together so as to undermine nature and natural hierarchies and culture structures that mean overall health.

It is no coincidence that suicide rates among transgenders/fags and clinical insanity among women in feminist movements go hand in hand. I've seen interviews, some of these women actually take pride in their clinically diagnosed anxiety, bi-polarity, and borderline personality disorders.

The tension in their groups the result of their deviation from the natural patterns of life and their refusal to accept the fact that men are good if strong and women good if sweet. No one takes pride in being weak and no one likes a bitter woman.

>The feminism as we know it today really only emerges after WWII

So, Hitler?

>normalcy
That was a term coined by FDR. The actual word is "normality".

>So, Hitler?
What?
