I bought a ps4 to play it at launch.
Worst mistake of my life. Such a waste of money. Game was meh and now my console is unplugged in a desk drawer.

sold my ps4 to help pay for a new 1080ti paid like close to a grand on it expensive in my country

user, I have this game. Get it on sale for the incredible campaign, but don’t bother with multiplayer. Every PvP mode is a variation of battle royale mode. Not an exaggeration. Every mode is battle royale. They have no content in almost a year for it and call it a beta, but offer in-game purchases with real currency. Not much of a beta if it’s making money. You literally cannot do anything but kill other players. If you try to do a mission, you will get killed by other players. If you try to hunt, you will get killed by other players. If you try to complete challenges, you will be killed by other players. There is nothing else to do than those few things. No changes and no updates except for 2 10 minute story missions, a couple of clothing pieces, a horrible gun, and an “anti griefing system” that just made it easier to grief.

But I can’t recommend the campaign enough. Beautiful and enjoyable.

Not on its own, no. But there are plenty of other good games and Xbox gives out free ones every month with Gold. There’s also something called Xbox Gamepass. You get unlimited access to over a hundred pretty decent games for a subscription. I think it’s pretty cheap too. I don’t have it because I own a lot of the games I’m interested in on the list. I strongly urge you to look into it.

I have windows 10 why would I buy a xbox? I can get all xbox games on PC I would buy a ps4 just cause last of us 2 if I was rich I would buy both

I honestly have no idea which of the game pass games run on windows 10. Don’t have a gaming computer so I don’t know much about the PC master race, other than I want in at some point.

As for choosing between Xbox or PS4, I can’t help you there. There’s not a single exclusive game for either one I care about. I don’t care for The Last of Us at all and Halo is completely ruined for all future generations. If you like the Dark Souls games, maybe consider going with PS4 so you can buy Bloodborne and Demon’s Souls.

Yeah idk. I played the last of us and it was meh. Just not for me. I’m sure it’s a fine game but I like a different style. That studio does a lot of beautiful games that emphasize on story telling and graphics and sacrifice intense, stylized gameplay. Also, I didnt like playing a zombie survival game with no real customization or survival aspects to it. I feel like RPG’s need to have more customization for me to be immersed. I can’t control a premise character and feel like it’s me.

Pretty spot on description. Single player is awesome. First game I've 100%ed in a long time. But the multiplayer is garbage. The multiplayer for red dead 1 was much better and it came out frickin 8 years prior. No microtransactions, Mexican standoff shootouts at the beginning of matches, poker and liars dice with friends, better posse system, etc.
But yeah only thing you said wrong was the online beta has been out for almost a year when >not quite 6 months yet

Just borrow a friend's PS4. Trust me, he's not using it. My one just sits around collecting dust. I've got BB, RDR2, Uncharted 1-4 and MHW and the only game I've enjoyed on that system is MHW. The controller is the best thing about owning a PS4
