Honestly I find myself carrying the M&P more than the Glock.

It feels a lot more comfortable in my hand because of the grip angle. The grip is also more ergonomically shaped. It just fits me better. And I’m a better shot with it.

Also the takedown lever on the M&P is so much easier to use and feels more solid vs the Glock’s cheap springy clip.

The stock trigger on the M&P 2.0 is MILES better than the 1.0 however I will most likely upgrade it down the line.

Also just looks based I like how the M&P looks over the Glock. The Glock is just so basic. Which some people like.

Although, when it comes to Glocks their aftermarket support is top notch, and they’ve always been known for their reliability. The Glock is also slightly slimmer, so easier to conceal. And it is definitely lighter.

Also forgot to add. If you haven’t tried either of them, hit a range and rent both out. At the end of the day it matters which one fits more comfortable in your hand.

I carry a S&W M&P 2.0 I also live in a Metro, not a rural fucktown.

I started carrying after being robbed at gun point last year (they caught the guy and his trial actually starts soon if he doesn't take a deal). While waiting for my concealed carry permit I did a lot of research on guns and situations which they would be used. Ended up getting a 38 Special. Wouldn't EDC anything else. No safeties just pull from holster and squeeze. I've hit the range every weekend I could since I got it.

Great accuracy, great reliability, semi-automatic, 15+1 rounds, great in the hand with the medium grip. Very modular, and great support from Sig Sauer. IMO very good looking gun as well.

6 foot 150lbs and can appendix carry in just a T-shirt and it doesn't print.

They did have the drop fire problem but I sent it in, super easy and got it back within 9 days. Even better trigger, very light.

Ok I thought this was a joke, again, it all depends on state, but in my state, yes that’s justifiable. Actually my state has a strange set of laws that basically make any and every licensed carrier a peace officer. You can use reasonable force (that is, any amount of force needed to make the arrest) to arrest a person and hold them for the police if you witness them committing a crime (and even if you didn’t witness it IF a. it was a felony and b. you have reasonable belief to think they did it). There is no preclusion for deadly force. Theoretically, I could hold someone at gunpoint if I knew they were wanted for a felony, and I could go as far as using deadly force to defend myself if they tried to attack me in response. I don’t think this type of thing is common and I’m assuming state legislature will do away with it as soon as someone successfully uses it in a defense lol

depends on the day, what clothes i'm wearing and weather. if its cold out and i can wear a jacket ill carry a bigger gun with more ammo (sig p320, G17,G19, S&W M&P, or springfield XD,) then there is the sub compact XD sub compact( takes the full size mags also) G26( takes full size mags). then the micros for hot days (shorts) or backup ankle guns Sig 365, G43,G42, Ruger LCP & LCR. Always have a knife, micro streamlight flashlight, lighter and a extra mag

Though the military is getting better at training and conditioning them so this doesnt happen as much as it did in Vietnam. I train all the time and havent missed and live targets i have aimed at. Not there is a difference between suppressive (target directional orientated fire) and shooting at someone that is shooting at you.

i have wheel guns too, but my primary is always a simi auto with a spare mag. I agree with your assessment of having a wheel gun as a back up.

Spare mag is arguably as important as number of rounds, if you have an issue with your gun chances are the easiest fix is to clear and reload

I also have the fnx (i like Fn) and i honestly think i want to get rid of it cause i dint carry fofive and its a monstrosity
