I get happy tree friends to a certain extent.
For instance the episode where the moose gets his leg crushed by a tree, and then he have to indulge serious pain and trauma to cut off his own leg with a spoon. Only to find out it was the wrong leg and he was to do the exact same thing over again with a even smaller object.
The joke here is obviously that he cut off the wrong leg which is really absurd.
I can also get the jokes from when there is just genuine gore happening, but there is usually something that twists the story at the end. For instance the episode you sent me, the kid finally gets freed from the demon-thingy, then he gets killed by his own father.
But for instance this one i just dont get exactly what this does for you? So according to the picture you linked with your reply, this relieves stress for you? Or will it make you laugh?
It just seems like an absurd picture that i cant understand the intent off.
Happy tree friends is just a really silly cartoon, and i would almost compare it to Tom&Jerry in how silly they are, but the difference is the gore is way more explicit in Happy Tree Friends compared to Tom&Jerry, but at the end of the day its considered funny because of how silly the interactions are.
In this picture im just confused and not sure why it would be funny.
