Yes, he takes aspects from a lot of his fellow rappers and it definitely shows. Taking beats and similar skits from kendrics GKMC, drake flows, tribe called quest, and so much more. Hes not horrible at copying those aspects. Rating this album around a 8 or 9 is objectively correct because yes it is solid. But when you get deeper into why it's that score it starts to become a hallow shell when you note how many great artists he took from

9 isn’t supposed to mean solid though, a 9 should be “Jesus Christ this is an amazing album” whereas a 10 should be a flawless album. Just because he made an album that sounds ok sonically and isn’t trash lyrically doesn’t mean it’s nearly flawless. I’d give logics entire career a 6.5/7. It’s all good enough. Nothing special and nothing new, and nothing that hasn’t been done better before.
