Probably the most unique and original anime i've ever watched.

Huh. I watched it and I definitely didn't like it. The potential was incredible, but every conflict or challenge was easily overcome in 5 minutes. It felt like the main character never had any problems navigating the foreign world and fighting anything. I understand he's supposed to be OP, but he never had to really try at anything outside of fighting.

The world building could have been good and I like how he made contact with so many groups, but there was no struggle or main character development (I understand he's 40). I never felt like there was any reason he was doing what he was doing and that he might lose or be set back by problems. It felt like a mindless minecraft world building on the setting with no monsters or lava.

I remember reading this shit in middle school. This could have been seriously the best manga of all time and they fucking blew it.
