So guys I've been thinking

So guys I've been thinking.
What happens when the outside lava on the sun solidifies like it has on earth?
Isn't it going to be dark all day and we will only have a bit of moonlight at night?

Hot lava keeps coming to the top, pushing the partially solidified stuff back into the core, where it's warm.

It's not lava stupid it's plasma

In 5-to-7 billion years, the sun will run out of its core fuel entirely. After swelling into a red giant, it will eventually blow off its outer layers, creating a planetary nebula, with its core contracting down to a white dwarf.

The earth isn't a star you retard

Maybe, or it could go super Nova

That "thinking" thing you mention? Better leave that stuff to other brains since obviously yours isn't up to the task.

It's still hot as fuck, maybe less brightness but same warm radiation. some plants will die without photosynthesis etc..

solids weigh more than liquids, so the sun will begin to fall out of our solar system to the bottom of the universe.

You all fell for pasta, fucking newfags I swear.

Don’t think its lava. Its super heated plasma.

If it was plasma it would be green. Does it look green?

It will retain mass but contract down losing volume.

Then we go live on the sun. More room nigga.

>Isn't it going to be dark all day and we will only have a bit of moonlight at night?
The moon is reflecting the sun you nobhead

Fucking idiot. That's not long enough to be pasta. It's just weak bait

It's too hot on the sun for the lava to ever, solidify like you are talking about. Eventually when the sun cools down, it will still be really hot - hot enough for the lava to be red. It keeps pumping out from the inner core and though it isn't like yellow-white hot, it's still red-hot.

Not a expert but I'm pretty sure we can only see the moon because of the sunlight reflecting off it so if the sun went dark both the moon and earth would go dark and we would freeze to death

Is is pasta. Stale as fuck. The cousin to it is the sun made of ice vs sun made of lava

drink Lava and swallow fast. it wont burn

Highly unlikely due to it's size
Remember, we only have a red dwarf, the most common of stars
If every star supernova'd or even ones exactly like our sun, we would probably not be around to see it

>we only have a red dwarf,

In what solar system do you live, we have a hot white/yellow sun durrr

>thinking these replies are serious

Go back to instagram

Of course we won't be around to see it

Use blankets .

We have a Class G2V or main sequence star. Fucking a user.

That b8 actually made me laugh irl. I r8 8/8.

Shit man, I got a plasma globe . Plasma is pinkish. Sun is yellow . Is fire.

Then all the steam will freeze on Jupiter. We can go live in ice caves.
