I used to do a strong edible about 1 or 2 nights a week. For me I found the best results eating the edible halfway through a meal. Like eating a slice of pizza, eating the edible then finishing the pizza.
50~100mg was what I used to go to the pub, beach or park on.
150~250mg was for chilling at home, couch, blanket, vidya or anime.

i use weed daily and my tolerance becomes extreme after some days, the only way to lower it is by taking at least 3 days off.

to reset your tolerance completely, you have to take the dreaded 1 month break, it hurts but i'ts worth it.

Has anyone made tinctures with weed? I've found some conflicting information about how to make it, but my method seems to work. What do you think? Any input?
First, I was using a bunch of trim I had. Lots of leaves, but some mangy looking buds in there too. I decarbed the weed in my oven, then put it in a mason jar. Cover it with Everclear and shake. Leave it in there for about a month in a cool place. Next, PUT ON SOME RUBBER GLOVES. This shit stains everything, and it can also be absorbed through the skin, so you could get way too high from this next step. SO, GLOVES. SERIOUSLY. Strain the contents of the jar through cheesecloth, and wring all the alcohol out. Then, filter it through a coffee filter. This takes a while. Now, you've basically got bright green 190 proof alcohol with a bunch of THC in it. It'll get you fucked up 2 ways right now. But, I've been heating it to boil almost all the alcohol off, so about a half liter of tincture reduces down to like 50-60 ml. Then, a few drops is enough to turn a cup of tea, or any other food, into an edible. The sample I tested was well over 20% THC (the test only goes up to 20%.) NOTE about boiling it. Use an electric hot plate, and NOT, repeat NOT an open flame. You're making alcohol vapor, which is highly flammable. I also keep my fire extinguisher handy during this step.

Besides a tolerance break, try smoking on an empty stomach. Also hydration seems to help. I smoke a few days a week, might take month long breaks but only due to lack of supply. I never smoked till a few years ago. It helps me get into a routine, like when I'm stoned I'm much more into deep cleaning and organizing, prepping meals. Helps me not give a fuck out in social situations, I tend to be more talkative to folks and less anxious. It's been epic in getting out of art blocks, so I can spend time on making art and not get stuck. It's been nothing but positive for me. I even hoped it'd help with my insomnia and vivid dreams, I've read and heard it makes you dream less. Doesn't at all for me though, still have crazy vivid dreams. No matter the strain, seems to mentally perk me up. Also, it raises my low libido and has me voraciously eat my bfs dick for a while, which is why he supplies me with it whenever he can. Also, makes me get into his vidya and dude hobbies (racing, cars, etc). Cotton mouth sucks, tend to use an edible massage oil that tastes like bubble gum.
