howmoften are you drunk before flights?
Last 2 pics are in colorado
Never been drunk while flying. I’m not a captain yet
kek
what do you fly? where?
what cha think about boeing and mcas?
I’m working for my commercial license in Colorado which basically will let me fly for hire.
It goes
>private pilot
>instrument pilot
>commercial pilot
Private’s means you can fly in good weather out of clouds
Instruments lets you fly in clouds and low visibility
Commercials I just explained
Best/fastest way for me to become a pilot making money.
this, and other things that involve software overriding the pilot's control.
Also, what do you think about Boeing making simple software safety features that should always be in place a value-added service?
If you’re talking about the anti stall system well idek. There’s supposed to be a switch that disables that function. The anti stall system basically forces the nose down. But 737 pilots are supposed to be trained on how to disable it.
Regardless it’s killed a bit of people. So they either didn’t know how to disable it or disabling it didn’t work.
Grounding those planes was probably a good idea but I’ve never flown a big jet like that so I wouldn’t know.
what kinda planes do you fly?
>simple software safety features that should always be in place a value-added service?
not op but this is REALLY fucking stupid
What are the pilot stereotypes?
I made fun of this chick last night in a chat room because she said her neighbor owns a helicopter. I called bullshit seeing that they cost at least 250 grand. Is she telling the truth?
do you think theres a club where every single pilot knows each other?
Yes. Now out with it.
Boeing should make those safety systems standard. Greedy asses.
Find a high rated 141 school, fly every day, and prepare to spend over 100k in school fees. You need 1000-1500 hours to get hired by most places and typical rental rates for a Cessna 172s is 120-160$/hr.
There’s a lotta pilot clubs online and irl. So maybe. Pilots who fly frequently to the same destination will no doubt get to know other pilots at the airport.
user I’ve seen a lotta weird shit I wouldn’t put anything past anyone
Cessnas l, diamonds, pipers, general aviation planes. I’m not a jumbo jet pilot. Not yet anyway
>pilots get laid all the time
Being a pilot definitely makes girls interested but it’s not a guaranteed. Depends on the person. I’ve seen a lotta Chad pilots and a lotta Nigel pilots.
>pilots make a lot
Hell no. Only captains make the real money. It takes 5-10 years at an airline to make 6 figures and that’s after 100k+ in school
>pilots are alcoholics
A lot are. Some aren’t.
>pilots fly for free
Depends on airline. Most offer free flights for pilots working for them.
>pilots are cocky and arrogant
a few are. Most are simple down to earth guys who are cool to chill with
That’s all I cannn think of atm.
Ik therees other drunk pilots on here I’ve met them before get in this mf thread and talk aboot pilot studf wimme
my uncle went into the air force for 4 years and got his hours that way
Do you ever get the urge to nosedive the plane into the ground?
What do you think of the MCAS on the 373 8-max? Do you think that downed those airliners? Or was it shit third world pilots?
as far as I know if you turn it off and use the trim or just fly by the seat of your pants it shouldn't be possible
How do you feel about SkyKing?
Like I said idk. There’s supposed to be an override, but Ibe never flown one. Maybe they never trained them how to disable it? Maybe the manual disable didn’t work? I sure as hell don’t know.
Honestly sometimes yea
It's shit third worlders who have no stick and rudder skills. But of course they never want to take the blame, they rather blame the white man's cursed inventions.

An f-18c? why not the f super hornet?
disabling it only worked for ten seconds. One of the planes went down they flipped the switch a bunch, desperately. You should read about it, it's pretty interesting.
the 18c doesn't even have an ILS just a CILS. How would you land one of those in ifr? use tacan?
Yeah the ethipoian flight crew flipped in on and off 3-4 times. I guess the co-pilot had 200 hours under her belt
>10 seconds
It’s a toggle switch. Why the hell would they make it a temporary deactivation if it’s set to “off”? Fucking Boeing.
Fuck off with this. No one gives a shit about your incel faggoty hentai discord.
Know any pilots in AF/navy? Sending a navy officer packet next year, considering pilot, swo, or shippo
I do one of my best buds Is a Lt. Commander. Flew f/a-18s off the gerald ford. He makes bank now as a commercial airline captian.
Got more original pics of you flying nigger? I need more pics so I can pretend to be a pilot in future threads.
Nice. Idk if I can pass the eyesight test for piloting but I'll probably apply for it
You are the captain of a commercial flight. Pic related boards the plane. Are you worried that some kinda shit is about to go down?
I’d force feed her to eat my shit. Captains have the absolute authority overriding every law while they’re in a plane.
Can they preside over a civil suit while in the air?
OP, tell us your best accident or near-accident story.
>Pilots don't make a lot of money
Sure starting off as an FO is ok at best ($30-40k/year) but many regional airlines are offering 50k signing bonuses. Plus the upgrade to CA is like year or two so pay goes up quick

How much actual manual flying do you do? I get the impression that most of what pilots do these days is "go through checklist, set autopilot, watch your glass display, occasionally take the stick if the landing is gonna be windy".
