No, real ramen.

Them raymens be there for you tho

>Mommy why are my tendies cold?!

>is it weird that I eat a preferred dish on a given day?
Shut the fuck up and stop seeking validation from incels on an Anime Image Forum you old faggot.

This post is stupid and you should feel bad for posting it

Thanks for letting us know you gigantic faggot.

You didn’t have enough gbps for for hot tendies

You make your own pho? What is the recipe? I just buy seafood pho from a local thai spot, but Ive never made it myself

Enjoy your niggeraids. Niggertier food no wonder these monkeys starve to death in africa with that crap food.

Real americans know how to eat and mcdonalds is everywhere because its so good

How do I get the egg to have a center that has jellowy feel? They are so good!

College students do this most days

It tastes good, is cheap, and is significantly healthier than other junk food choices. Although the sodium is high.

By having your servants poach them you pleb.

>bait, hand-crafted specifically for me
Oh fuck off already.

No
Also it look really good

you gotta soft boil it, so basically you do the same thing you would to hard boil but take it out sooner, maybe put it in a quick ice bath to stop it from overcooking. depending on how jelly like you want it experiment with 4-5 min, go up for firmer and down for more liquidy

Pho is delicious and generally pretty cheap. Could go for a bowl and a couple spring rolls right now.

Not him but thanks for the advice. I'll try the ice thing next time.

I mean how is it possible for americans to digest natural ingredients? Its full of fibres and minerals.

Americans shouldnt definitely not risk their health by eating non american food

Doctor here

Bring water to boil. Drop in egg, wait 6-7 minutes, remove egg. Shock with cold water. Crack well all over before peeling (important).

OP its looks ok i wanna try it at my home too. But ima poorfag so could you please tell me how much it would cost to get all ingredients?

Maybe it's cheap in Asia, but here in Canada it costs $10-$20 depending on if there's protein in it or not. That's not cheap. That's quite costly. McDonald's $1 cheese burger is cheap. $20 is expensive.

That depends on where you are in Canada. All food is unusually expensive in northern canada. That has nothing to do with the price of the food itself. You are paying mostly for shipping because it's cold and not much variety grows there.

I think the price and effort vs gain is way off here. So no real benefits from eating Pho escept you like to impress your asian pussy

I'm not into it all that crazy, but it's not weird. It's pretty good.

its cheap man and tastes good. I dont have any asian gf. I fuck my dogs

love pho, you do you user

how long do you cook the broth for

Depends on your quality of ingredients.

Are you going to buy broth or make your own? More costly to make your own (have to buy meat and simmer for ~10 hours and can cost $20-$30 but will last long). If you'll buy broth, it's like $5 maybe for one meal.

Are you buying your vegetables from the farmer's market? If yes, double your cost. If not, it'll probably cost $10 for all the veggies from a supermarket.

Are you adding any chicken or beef to it? That'll increase your costs exponentially. $10 for some chicken then you have to cut and fry it. Do you have a good knife to cut the chicken, if not add $100-$500 for a good Zwilling chefs knife, or $10 for a shitty Zwilnigger knife.

Are you adding spices into? Of course you have to. Spices are quite costly especially for good quality ones. You can skimp out and buy the shitty ones but the flavour will be bland. Buy the good stuff, it might cost $30-$100 for all the spices in this dish, but they'll last for a while and you can use them multiple times. You can probably buy cheap spices for $5 but they will definitely suck.

So to sum up, the dish is around $1000 if you really want a good meal, or $20 if you're going to be cheap with your ingredients and equipment.

What?
How do you get so unsure of yourself you have to check with a board full of 16 year old trumpies if its ok to eat soup on Fridays?

thank you.
op you are cancer, and the reason Yea Forums is the way it is now

What a fuckin stupid question. Why the fuck would anyone care if you eat soup?

I don't care why I'm paying more. I'm just saying it costs a lot here and it isn't cheap. McDonald's also has to ship everything but they manage to sell $1 burgers. That's not an excuse. The reality is people are willing to pay more here. That's the only reason why it's more expensive.

Holla. Then i might just go to a soupkitchen just like in asia. I hope there are some in the midwest. Doesnt have to be any luxury

Make the broth the previous day with simmering meat and bones filled with collagen for 8-12 hours. Then use that broth as a base for your Pho. This is the most important step. Using store bought broth is going to brint your dish down from Michellin-level to McDonald's-level.

The fuck is that, looks like grass, leaves, and shit found on the floor.

It's actually quite delicious. I also get these Vietnamese subs at my local store. You have no idea how good they are. Some lemon grass chicken, a lot of cilantro, and some carrots and cucumbers in the sandwich with a perfectly crusty bread. The cilantro just brings it to a whole new level and makes it so fresh. You don't know what you're missing out if you've never had this sandwich before.

Or you can go to a Vietnamese restaurant and order the dish for like $10. Is that too expensive for you?

Day off rituals are great. For me its a a good shave, then plate of bacon and eggs then two cups of my favorite coffee. Nothing odd about something you like to do weekly.

According to the McShill in the thread, anything over a dollar is insufferably too expensive for an entire meal.

Whats lemon grass chicken? Are you vegan?

is it the same day u fuck asians?

Dont know but just for a bowl of soup?

That sounds so sad.
And gay.

No. It's chicken cooked with lemongrass you dodo, a very common plant in Vietnamese cuisine. It's got a very nice and light flavour, like a mix of lemon and mint. It doesn't overpower the dish and has great visual appeal too.

Is fried kitty cat included as a side for $10.

It is neither. Occasional familiarity strengthens us. Reminds us that we have sanctuary in the world.

Not weird youre just a faggot

Point is no one gives a shit what you eat and what age your eating it. Just be glad your alive and eating. Your gonna shit your food out anyway.

I almost screamed

It's not just a bowl of soup. It's soup with noodles, protein, vegetables, spices, and the hundreds of years of tears of the Vietnamese sex slaves that made it for their husbands that raped them. It's really a very unique dish.

And even for soup, they give you a lot of it. Even chicken soup at this quantity would be this costly.

Only if the owner is Chinese. If they're Japanese, you'll get a free side of dolphin.

>very common plant in Vietnamese cuisine
Gook cuisine began with deep fried rice paddies. Mmm.

Ok user, I hope you have a good day

Free dolphin in this economy? That's a fucking steal.

I think including $500 for a knife is a little silly

Say that when your knives lose their sharpness when dicing tomatoes.

Is there some happy endings when i visit a viet restaurant? Forget it i might just have one asian day a month and eat asian and after i go get to the thai massage parlor cause why not

Why? A chef's knife is an indispensable tool. I had a shitty knife and I could barely cut shit with it. I bought a proper $400 chef's knife and now I trim meat like a pro and cut chicken tendons like the knife is an extension of my hand.

If you're going to make your own broth and are serious about cooking, then the $400 investment is a huge saving to your time and frustration.

In freedom land I can get a bowl for $8 and is significantly more tasty than McDonald's and way more filling. Also I'm not poor. Get fucked tastelet. What kind of man doesn't enjoy a good broth with noodles, veggies, and protein?

My gf and I go out to eat phó every weekend

If you go to the Thai parlor after the Vietnamese restaurant, they'll bite your dick off while they're giving you a blowjob and they taste that Vietnamese flavour in your dick.

I wonder how many people in this thread know it's pronounced Phaa and not Phow?

That's why everyone knows you go to the massage parlor before lunch, not after.

Just imagine for 8$. Either one bowl of soup or 8 burgers which come handy and you can eat them on the go

Chef knives are cool but i just run my 50$ knife over a sharpener three or four times and it works nearly as good and I can still beat the shit out of it without feeling bad.

I wish I had a 1/5 of whiskey and some vicodin

where do you find a $1 burger? It's probably horse meat

I don't want to eat 8 shitty burgers. If I want a good burger I'll make it or go elsewhere. Also why would I need to eat on the go and if I did the last thing I want to be snacking on is cold ass fast food burgers. Fuck off McDick shill.

You'd be lucky if it's horse meat. Rat burgers is more likely for that kind of price.

fuckin culture vultures

I cut and grind my own meat for many things, and there's no way you can cut sinews, tendons, and ligaments with a $50 knife, you can't even cut them with a $500 chef's knife. You need to get a boning knife or a filetting knife, and those also cost $200-$600. So there isn't one knife that is good for cutting everything. You have to buy several >$200 knives if you want to be properly efficient and not destroy the look of your meat.

McDonald's has a cheeseburger for $1 and it's all beef. Don't know what part of the cow, but it's all cow.

I meant in calculating the cost of the dish. Fair enough if you want to buy an expensive knife, but its a one off cost and can be used for other meals, not just your one batch of pho.

Or just buy a ceramic knife you bongo

Thank user this post made me laugh on the shitter

Obviously its just a one time payment. But OP seemed like he didn't have any cooking equipment, so I was trying to be thorough. I should've also included the price of pots and pans that are needed for this dish, as well as cutlery and plates. Maybe he even needs to buy a stove.

Are they better than stainless steel knives?

Based on OP's picture, he uses disposable chopsticks. He needs to buy a new everything.

True. All that for a lousy soup. Its not like when i eat pho that in my imagination some bongo bongo girls dance in front of me. Its just a silly soup with exotic spices. Nothing more

No they don't, they get food from their food court.

It's not lousy, it's delicious. And who the fuck expects girls to dance in front of you while you're eating? Are you some Harem Prince from Persia? You just enjoy food for how it tastes, not for what you imagine when you taste the spices. Can't you not think of girls for even a second, you hentai?

>gfs grandma died
>Even though it is sad they will have best of all noodles there
>Better than pasta
>Better than ramen
>Better than Pho
>Better than Hand Pulled Noodles
>Better than the Thai Version.
Lao style Khao Soi, best of all noodles gents.

Yes

Jeez imagine how many insect limbs and body parts there are in that soup

Why? Are they more expensive? How come no one has ever told me this? And no one on the Internet mentioned it either when I was doing research on what knives to buy.

>8 dollars
>For pho
That better be and XX large bowl because it's fucking 6 bucks here.

this

>He has seen American food standards
You are allowed something like 500 insect parts per burger , no joke.

> Being this uncultured

Not the user you were replying to, or attempting to reply to, but you linked the wrong post numbnuts.
