I work in a truck making residential deliveries. I make deliveries for places like Costco, BJ’s, overstock and other places as well.
First off, don’t ask for favors, unless you’re paying for help don’t get upset when they say no to free work.
Second, the “white glove” service is bullshit, instead of paying $90 online for the to do the WG service on your Tv or couch or whatever the fuck, shoot them $20 each. 90% of the time they’ll take the money, unless they’re behind schedule or it’s too risky. You’ll be happy bc you got the WG service at less than half and they’ll be happy bc they got an extra $20.

Woolworths self serve checkouts in Australia don't have weight scales, you can steal all kinds of shit just by swiping it across the mirror thing like your scanning it but not really and putting it in your bag. Work for a fairly highly ranked college. Not a bombshell, but because international students pay significantly more than US citizens. We let them into tough degrees when they're garbage and almost cant meet the english requirements.

Programming and Database jobs are the safest IT profession because that will take over 30 years to automate. Most other IT jobs are going to be automated in the next 15 years or so.

That we're up here at all, when it can all be done remotely. I don't know what you are talking about but the only drivers being paid to drive are either working for a manufacturer or are just good drivers with a strategically limited license level being hired by bad drivers for those events where multiple drivers can drive the same car (mostly endurance racing).
Basically if you do too good, you get higher on the license ladder, and you can only race as a pro with other pros, but if you do good enough to keep your license in the middle of the ladder, you are still eligible to drive in amateur or Pro-Am mixed classes and can be hired by amateur drivers to assist them, which is an easier job and allows you to race for whoever you want without being limited by a contract with a manufacturer.

I work in tech and while there really are a lot of really smart people in the industry, there are a LOT of people that have no business being there because they have no idea what they're doing. Nothing really juicy, just general observations over the years and personal experiences. I often take jobs doing things I know nothing about and ramp up quickly, during ramp up I tend to try to ask questions of people tagged by the company as SMEs (subject matter experts) and more often than not, they don't have answers for me. With time, I end up knowing more than them and I prefer not to let on because I like having a personal and social life as opposed to being the guy everyone is fucking calling during off hours. It's kind of terrifying.
My running theory is that a lot of people got into the sector because 1) job growth is astronomical because everything relies on tech now, and 2) someone in their family urged them to "do computer stuff for a living" because "there's a lot of money to be made there." The combination of those two reasons means unqualified people get jobs. They're not interested in what they're doing and because of that, they don't make the money they thought they would and because of that, they're not interested in what they're doing. It's a shitty cycle.
Again, that's not to say there aren't incredibly smart and engaged people... theyre just working on a foundation of drones who don't care.

What I learn from this is that you cannot make your bag too heavy BUT not too light either.

I live in a very small complex, not even a building and this is absolutely true. The roaches here are terrifying mutants that have become immune to every single brand of pesticide on the market. It's getting so bad I've been looking into those highly illegal methods you mentioned

Anyway, apply this in extremely small amounts (like pebble size) to every cabinet hinge, drawer slide, in every nook and cranny, under your kitchen table, in little holes, around the fridge.. anywhere you see them hanging out ever. (Keep an eye out for droppings, they look like ground pepper).

Pebble size is important. Roaches are greedy, if they see a small amount they'll gobble it up before someone else gets it. If it's a large amount they'll remember it for later and leave it.

Slow acting poison baits work because they shit it out before it kills them, and since they eat each others shit and corpses, they pretty much spread it through the entire colony.

I prefer not to say who I work for, anyway if you already know how to wrench, you can start sending out resumes (or showing up at the track and introducing yourself to the various teams, which is arguably better) to teams working with touring cars. They are the easier versions of GTs and can give you a quite good understanding of what jobs are usually carried on a race car and what usually happens on a racing weekend.
Touring cars are good because you can still get to a very high level of competition should you choose that career path or you can switch to GTs later on.
