Question: Is it socially unacceptable to tip $3 on a $20 restaurant bill at a small diner if you only saw the waiter a couple of times?

I always tip 20% unless, like, the waiter assaults me or something

Everything you do is socially unacceptable

>Everything you do is socially unacceptable
I knew it!

I find it stupid to tip waiters

Depends on how soon you’ll go back

I always tip 20% on the pre-tax amount. And I hate myself for it. We shouldn't be tipping at all, unless the service is phenomenal and memorable.

Why would I tip someone to walk the already overpriced food I'm buying 30 feet from the kitchen to my table?

I agree with all this, I just feel bad about tipping the wrong amount, especially because I don't care about the $1. Tipping is completely fucking stupid--I'd rather tip the cook.

Fuck tips they should not fucking exist. They should just pay waiters better.
