Do SSRI's Work? Im pushing through life and doing well relitively speaking, but im still pretty unhappy. I know they have side effects, but are they worth it?

Anybody use esketamine (Spravato) ?

SSRIs can work, but everybody's neurochemistry is different; I've had to cycle through a bunch of them, myself, but I know a whole bunch of people who've taken one and for whom it's consistently helped.

Wow pharma dataming sure got easier these days

paxil
klonopin
zopliclone

sometimes I take too much

Interesting. How did it change you personally?

Wanna try antidepressants but i dont want proof that i have depression to exist because im studying to be a cop and already got past the psyshit part.
But everyday i want to kill myself even more

Well, I have a super bizarro metabolism and neurology, but: some of them acted as a mood elevator (i.e. I just generally felt happier), some of them had that plus general activation (i.e. happier + more energy; wellbutrin is the best known drug that causes that); some made me feel better but also made me ultra sleepy (tricyclics + anticholinic effects); some just made my emotions go numb so I didn't feel bad per se, but didn't feel better, either.

Unfortunately, I'm a classic "treatment-resistant" major depressive, so even the ones that work and work well stop being effective around 18-24 months.

Withdrawal from what?

girl, what yo number? i like 'em chubby

I've taken Citalopram and Zoloft and they both impair function in certain respects that I consider to be important

Prozac, lithium, vistaril

derp, was for

I took Zoloft and honestly felt no difference maybe I didn't take it long enough

they might just make you feel like crap if you aren't lazy

Esketamine is supposed to work on treatment resistives. FDA has approved it. Trying to get on it myself.

Oxycodone/Acetominophen, Meloxicam, and Gabapentin.
The former two for back pain and the latter for neuropathic pain

Ya rite, that's what the doctor always says. That way they can sell you more.

Yeah, I'm interested in seeing how that works out en masse; I've done the stuff recreationally - along with shrooms, which also purportedly help - but I haven't noticed any long-term effects from special K. Admittedly, the S-K is consistently dosed over an extended period, whereas the fun version ain't.

>Gas X
You consistently have gas?

s-kunadi is a jew

I have super bad anxiety and OCD and have been prescribed many things but pretty much just different SSRI’s and antipsychotics. I’ve been too scared to try any of them.

just remeron for insomnia

took 30+ different antidepressants, mood stabilizers, and anxiety meds. hate them all except xanax but doctors won't prescribe it to me because i live in an area where it's a big problem. i have permanent brain fog, ruined metabolism, and lowered sex drive from all the medicine i've taken. the worst i've taken were abilify (made me gain 60 pounds in 3 months) and paxil (made me psychotic and have daily anxiety attacks)

Yep, all the time, it's air, non.smelling farts and whatnot. It all started after a single very violent vomiting episode after choking on a piece of sandwich.

I also think I swallow air a lot.

Racemic ketamine=\=Enantiopure ketamine. It could have a much stronger effect than a similar dose of ketamine

How long ago was that? If it's over a month you should probably see a doctor. If nothing else they might prescribe you a more effective medicine

20mg Lexapro just started 6 weeks ago working good so far, starting to experiment with Benadryl to further reduce my social anxiety

Yeah, I'm pretty familiar with that trick at this point; there are *tons* of drugs that are just the one enantiomer. See: escitolopram, etc. I have the more-than-sneaking suspicion that a lot of it is just for patentability, though.

Two years.

Seen doctors, been to the ER several times. I can't have an endoscopy because propofol stops my heart. Tried without sedation, it worsened my shortness of breath after eating.

Can't have CT with contrast because allergic to it (anaphilaxis).

Can't have barium X ray because it can constipate me down to death.

And u not faggot?

yeah wtf is this shit i think murican kids get feed with mental health meds since 5 thats why they they are so autistic

You do get different effects depending on the enantiomer. Famous example was thalidomide, one enantiomer has the sedating/anti-nausea effects while the other one caused horrible birth defects

Lol when I was on meds...
Risperidone
Remeron
Adderall
Wellbutrin

Adderall 60mg each day
