The meds are the first part to help kick start your progress but ultimately CBT as mentioned can help more long term. Try an SSRI with anti-anxiety effects. Lexapro is a great first line drug for this. Ketamine injections are cool and up coming but good luck getting an insurance to pay for it. Stay away from benzos unless you get acute panic attacks and try to abstain from alcohol. It’s a long road to recovery once in that state of mine but you can do it. Also, hangout with some friends to have that connection, helps a lot more than people think.

It's all public healthcare here. Only private testing is through naturopathic clinics.
Technically naturopaths are covered by my work insurance but I would have to sit through a 1-2 hour presentation of homeopathy (which I'd have to pay $100-$200) and then pay $200+ for blood tests. My work insurance only reimburses up to $500 for naturopathic stuff.

I'm still on waiting lists to see an endo but the waitlist is 2-3 years. I was on a waitlist to get a phonecall to get on the waitlist for the gender clinic (which I did, was 9 mo for the phone call, 4 mo for the gender clinic which I see next month). From the gender clinic I'll be on the next phone call waitlist (12-16mo) then 6-8 mo from phone call to endo. So overall the whole process is like 3-4 years.
