1: the Mueller report has not been published. You, and I, do not know what it contains. A 300 page report has only been summarised by a single-page version written by trump's appointed AG - a man plenty have described as "partisan".
We do not know if he was about to be found out or not, no-one will until it is released, in full, without redaction.

2: the process of investigating resulted in indictments for 34 individuals, 7 guilty pleas so far. Multiple indictments - Michel Flynn, and Cohen for example, with links to Russian interests are recorded, via Trump's campaign team. It is highly likely Trump was also involved to some degree, and his actions are certainly those of someone attempting to control narrative on this front. Given the number of others involved, he very likely thought he was going to get caught out.

3: Trump is an imbecile who doesnt know how, nevermind when, to keep his mouth shut.

He's done, it's over for him.
