I'm working 6 days a week 11 hours a day as an accountant. My life is garbage, I'm pretty much just a below average white guy in every way. I really want you guys to listen to a song I made, it's pretty bad so you can make fun of me for trying too hard or whatever, I just want you to listen if you hate it. Itd make me feel like I wasnt wasting the only day of free time I get a week.

Only happiness I could have would be making a living off playing live shows in a rock band but that's never gonna happen. I've transcended the normal human experience and cast aside things like personal relationships and fun.

Idk what that is I just know I work in an accounting firm, scanning and uploading documents. The busses out there only run once an hour and the workplace culture is pretty strict about everyone leaving together, and everyone just follows the bosses lead of when to leave. I try not to take breaks and just eat at my desk so I get paid as much as possible. I like to spend my time in the file room working on the never ending re alphabetizing project or pulling white files.

Did you guys listen to the song? It was all improvised in a fit of existential fear.

I'm going to be honest with you OP.

The lyrics sound like you made that shit up on the spot. Song structure needs some work. Guitar playing was okay, needs practice. You recorded everything in one take with what sounded like a single microphone.

Try writing your lyrics down and adapting a more conventional song structure, figure out what works. Invest in a multitrack recorder or use something like Reaper to record on the cheap. You can fix problems using multiple takes. Drums and a bass line will make the song something more than a sonic wall of guitar.

Yeah and today I broke up with my gf because I was too depressed and felt like I was dragging her down but that only made me feel worse.

You think your life sucks? I work 70 hours a week being a truck driver. I get 34 hours off then have to do it all over again locked up in this truck all the time. I'm not complaining just saying. Man up dude.

This explains what I heard. I honestly didn't listen long enough to hear the nirvana lyrics, but I could hear the nirvana influence.

Take your time and put more effort into your work. Bands going into a studio and already have hundreds of hours of practice before they record. When I record stuff, I may work on a song for 20-40 hours (a work week for 1 song).

Also that's only four more hours than what I'm doing. We're both just sitting down staring at nothing it's not like they're really that different.

I'd love to be in a band but I'm way too retarded for people to want to willingly be near me for extended periods of time.

So for now my music is serving its purpose in getting other retards to tell me to kill myself.

I didnt work as a truck driver but when I ran away from home I went with a couple of movers. We loaded up the truck, got in, drove for a few days cross country, unloaded it. Thats it other than the logs they had to fill out. And that's movers, most truck drivers are just long haul guys driving pre loaded trailers.
