Wow getting shots from both sides. My point was one is a short description, the other is a longer in depth article meant to give examples and some explanation. So of course there would be differences. Even if the Webster had a second page as long as the wikipedia page it would likely have some pretty big differences than the few words of a dictionary definition. A dictionary definition alone often inst that useful, and what your point is meant to be just doesn't come across. As for building up fascists, im an anarchist but nice assumption.
I attend the Catholic university of Leuven, 48th in world rankings and 31st in my subject. Why would they provide a dictionary in this day and age, its not a useful reference tool.

but Karl Marx requires the abolishment of private property and ownership of the means of production (natural resources, industry, transport, housing etc) by the public, as in workers. Either directly by those workers using them, or to state of a government of workers. So whats the difference between the two? Its still not clear to me in your example. None of them want that, they are rich and utilize capitalism to be there. They want to have a little bit of change to how you regulate the capitalist market and try to improve the country from the bottom up a little. Like many countries do successfully. Most of them also arent against terrorizing other countries to get cheap resources etc either, they dont want to allow them to develop and adopt anything like socialism or even protectionism. So probably not socialists.

Not all authoritarian or totalitarian systems are fascist. Soviet Russia not fascist. The government of Iran is not fascist. Pinochet was not fascist. Despite all of them being authoritarian, they all espouse and attempted to implement radically different visions of society. Pinochet was an authoritarian capitalist; Stalin was an authoritarian Marxist, and the Ayatollahs were/are authoritarian reactionaries.
Fascism is an ideology, not a method of governance. Mussolini and Hitler were fascists. Peron was a fascist. Assad is a fascist, as were the other Ba'athists. You seem to be caught in a mode of thought whereby anything other than your utopian vision of libertarian capitalism is "fascist," when this is not the case. You must know what the enemy is in order to fight them, and they are definitively not fascist. That is an idea they have planted in your mind.

First off; all 'leftist' tech companies can only remain as profitable as they are if they remain further to the right financially than a lot of leftists these days. It redefines what it means to be a citizen, pushes for a return to traditional values, festihization of the military, and any criticism of this is spun as a threat to the "people" With fear mongering on immigration and SJWs, the dominant political party in US politics is the GOP, which caters to white christian males and corporate interests.
