Hey Yea Forums, I'm moderately freaked out right now. I decided to explore the "dark web" everyone was going on about because I've always been pretty curious about it, as I'm sure many others have. Well I get on one of the recommended search engines and just enter "porn" because lel what better place to start right.
Bit mistake. The first page I clicked on was CP, and lots of it. I backspaced like fuck but I'm still kinda nervous. I read online that while browsing other illegal sites for stuff like guns or narcotics wasn't a crime unless you bought something, clicking on a CP site is automatically breaking the law because if you can see it, your browser downloaded it.
What's gonna happen? Nothing? Am I fucked? I know the FBI and such set up honeypots on those sites to catch pedos. Am I gonna be in some mass arrest on the news in a year?
>inb4 the party van is starting now, prep your anus I was an idiot but I'm not a retard. Not even the FBI works that fast.
OpSec >Tor: mobile browser (phonefag I know) >VPN >Orbot >no, I did not download any videos >no I did not sign up for anything
>I did not sign up for anything they are definitely coming for you user
Mason Adams
Oh fuck the old reverse psychology. Not signing up is just an indication of guilt
Isaiah Sanchez
I doubt it. The whole point of Tor is to hide your IP. Now this thread might be easier to inculpt you with
Xavier Perez
nothings gonna happen u retarded normie
Jordan Reyes
fuck niggers
Ryan Cooper
Yea you're probably right. But before I downloaded tor I did do some research and every single person worth their salt said *DO NOT* think tor makes you invisible. If you do bad shit, you can be caught and people have been caught before.

just go back to playing Fortnite

just being connected to the dark web vpn or not allows other peoples search history, websites, and purchases pass through your app/web browser when not in use In 2014 when I was on the dark web a lot I got questioned by the police about purchasing meth, heroin, and molly off of one of those sites (probably the silk road or something along the lines) I told them I didn't buy any and I'm a poorfag with no BTC and got sent home. Had a vpn and everything. Deleted that shit never to look at onion tor dark web again.
Jaxon Williams
Unless you downloaded it, uploaded it, or are constantly on cp sites i wouldnt worry. Anyone can accidently stumble on a cp site. Dont look at porn on the deep web in the future.
Carson Morales
Hm that's weird. I know that when I mobilefag even on Yea Forums I occasionally get hit with bans I didn't earn so I believe it. I started browsing Yea Forums in mid to late 2012, and then one day I try to post and get hit by a CP ban from 2003. I always appeal those (and win) just for the sake of it, but it's weird how that works.
Noah Garcia
Yeah that's a lesson I won't need to learn again. Pornhub may be vanilla and boring as fuck but I'll take that over getting V&
>CP ban from 2003 Interesting. They used to ban people before Yea Forums existed?
Asher White
I have a question. What vpn does op use?
Jonathan Smith
2004 my bad. Or one from 2006 or some shit. You get the idea. It doesn't happen often but when it does it makes me uneasy . If Yea Forums can fuck up, so can any software the Feds are using
Luke Jenkins
Stumbling upon websites like that is something that happens to most citizens on the internet. If you were not using a VPN or anything, that's a little dangerous in the first place.
Best thing you can do is just forget about it. The FBI does not have time for people that only just stumble upon sites like that on accident.
Not that they could find you anyway. Especially if you were connected to a tor node...
I've been using tor for years to do stuff that may or may not be illegal and I haven't been arrested yet so don't worry you'll be fine
Liam Torres
Ok. I read somewhere that some vpn companies would sell data of their clients. But whatever, you have not done anything weird, just mistakenly found a website and immediately closed it.

Thanks user. This is the answer I logically came to but it's good to hear someone say it. I'm still a little worried about some "hidden malware" that could have somehow got me but I have up to date security and didn't open any suspicious .exe files so that's probably not an issue.
Thanks again user
Kayden Carter
Yeah, I'm just a naturally paranoid "worst case scenario" person. I got some shit going for me in life and getting that fucked would be probably one of the only things that would make me consider an heroing
Hunter Ramirez
Np, user. If you are scared about malware, you should take a full system check of your computer. Also, go into your task manager and see if anything is running in the backround that may be suspicious.
Also, I wanted to mention, if there was any way to find the website (most likely impossible. Tor deletes all browsing history.), you should probably report it to authorities in order to ensure that they know you are a good guy.
Or, you can do what most people do and just dont do anything.
