One time I tried to stay awake while falling asleep.
You can do this by simply lying down and not moving. It takes some dedication.
After a while, your body falls asleep, while you are still conscious.
That's where there hallucinations start kicking in.
I saw all kinds of weird shit clearly in front of me.
After a while I noticed that during all this time, there was a metal banging noise coming from a place outside of a window. Well, whatever, that's just how it is.
After a while I got creeper the fuck out by the hallucinations and decided to move my body in order to wake up.
As soon as I moved a bit, the images in front of my eyes flashed away and the metal banging noise became silent.
That's when I realized that the noise outside of my window had been part of the auditory hallucination experienced when falling asleep.
It's just as common to hear screams in the same fashion, maybe that's what you experienced?
But with 3 days in a row, that's very unlikely.

Also, never try this experiment. I regret it. At first it was interesting, but then it got so spooky that I had to stay awake for the rest of the night and migrate to another room.

I really would not recommend having light in the room, because reality can be distorted in such a way that it can freak you out.
If you were to open your eyes, and saw the room dimly lit by the TV, there's a good chance you would hallucinate a creepy face hovering over you, standing on the bedside.
If you hear a person on TV, they might sound like a demon.
Stuff like that.
At least if it's dark, you're more likely to come up with pretty patterns or something instead of "stuff in your room" .
That's just my opinion though. I think static noise might help.

them all. I managed to throw one punch toward the main attacker, but that only caused them to beat
me even more. I fell to the ground where they started kicking me and punching me in the face.
Eventually, some other people from the street broke up the fight. I managed to have the strength to
stand up and stagger away.
