As soon as i finished my 3 years degree I used to work for my dad 8-10 hrs a day, mon-sat for 800 euros and sometimes even less.
While still living with them, he used to make me pay for living in there, for each and every expense regarding the car (which I need in order to work with him) even if I never wanted it in the first place. Sometimes he wouldn’t even cash me the gasoline back. Now it’s been 5 years, i’m basically broke every fucking month and last month i went over 300 euros in debt because I had a 3 day trip with my gf. I just paid 1500 euros in taxes + other expenses and my debit card cachet is 2500.
How hard am I fucked?

Sounds like life to me. Just don't sink further into debt. Spare expenses anyway and everywhere you can to pay it off. It's an endless pit that shit.

Wish I could my friend, but i gotta scoop another 1.1 grand within 3 months (again taxes due) and I have literally no idea what to do next. Also, because of work, i spend around 350/500 euros a month for gas, and that shit sinks me down a lot.

Also, he makes a truck load of money thanks to me (around 100k a year) while i’m in debt and still living under their roof. I feel like shit.

Stop working for family faggot. Don't worry. You'll be fine. Has he been paying you for overtime? Cause you know we could sue if he hasn't.

What do you spend your money on? I spend less than $1000 usd a month on living expenses.

I spend around 30 2 or 3 saturdays a month because it’s the only time of the week i’m free and i go out with my gf. Other than that, the contributions he asks me for living here. Also gas money, as I said, car insurance and mechanic repairs when they’re due. Also, I had sever pains in my head starting from my mouth so i had some shit done by the dentist recently and that costed me 250 euros.
Officially, he pays me full figures (around 1500) but he keeps half of it on the premise that I need to contribute to living here. He’s basically my landlord. So i’m left with 800 of which 400 go into gas. Also, i have some taxes due because i’m about to degree in another subject so i can finally find a decent job, but to do so, i need to clear uni’s fees which are around 1100 every semester.

I mean, if you don’t like the way things are going at home, move out. Pay rent somewhere else, and get a different job. You’ll find out how hard life really is.

Some people left home at a young age and made it on their own without their parents. Your father is just preparing you for the harsh reality of life as a broke wage slave.

Working for family guarantees job security and income. Anything else and you're gonna have it rougher.
I would say you've got a bad deal, but compared to how much riskier it is without family on your side, you'd be wiser to just suck it up and stick to your current arrangement.

What's your three year degree in? Underwater basket weaving? Can't you find a better job?

Don't listen to him user.
Eventually you have to move on, so better do it now, before giving your shitty family even more excuse to keep you in forever.

This.
Family's family but if you're not getting paid a proper wage just fucking leave and do literally anything else.
With a degree you should be on at least $20/h, living by yourself and saving $1k or more a month without trying.

>that post
yeah he's using you user. parents are people too and your dad knows your cheap labor that'll never complain or leave because you're family.
i've seen the same thing happen to a friend of mine. his dad set up a business, hired my friend (his son), they worked for years with the father taking most of the money. one day my friend shows up and the dad goes "no more work son, i'm done with this" leaving my mate unemployed and broke after 5 years of basically padding his dad's wallet.

>$400/month in petrol
literally how the fuck are you spending that much if you're living with your parents?
your dad make you drive yourself to work?
your dad runs a business on the opposite side of town?
fuck man, you're being ripped off.

Also remember you can claim gas spending to get to/from work back on your tax return

My job requires me to travel to our customers’ firms and basically check their safety equipments and osha-like compliances. I travel around 100k km a year.
You’re kinda right and as of now i’m 3 exams away from my second three years degree which i’ll turn in a phd in 3/4 years. But I don’t know which job I could apply for that wouldallow me to study while working. Who the heckwould hire me? I’m so depressed.

Your daddy is jewing you out of your money. Stop complaining, and move out, find some room to rent, eat ramen for a few months, and when you finish your exams and get a degree, life will become much sweeter. Move out, be on your own.

This

>again taxes due
Amerifag here. This is why we left yall taxin ass bitches

find a new job stop being a eurocuck and grow a pair

I’m pondering this opportunity but where I live jobs are a scarce commodity. Looking for a ledge to leap to.
Sometimes i envy you amerifats.
As I said, it ain’t easy. I wish I didn’t accept his offer in the first place, all he ever cared for was money. I grew up without him because he was always abroad because of work and all of a sudden he wants to be a dad just in time for when he’s able to jew me out because of my degree smh

Why do you have to pay taxes? at this income you dont have to pay taxes in any eurpean country...and you would get money back if those costs for gas are job relevant...

> 22% VAT

Reread all my posts, my official income sits around 1.5 grand but my dad cuts it in half “because i live under his roof”

Also another funny tidbit of my life: I had bought a good used 2007 renault clio for my own use. When i started working for him, he sold my car and bought a new one for 25k because he made a shady deal with the car dealer to trade in 2 used car for a big discount on 2 new ones. He convinced me to take part in this deal even if I didn’t want to. A couple months after this deal, I crashed it against the tree because i slipped on icy road.
Went 6k in debt and lived 5 months without being able to buy any new clothes or go out at all. Now I have super high insurance costs. I just want my used Clio back.

>1.1k taxes from only 3 months
>Not earning enough to pay expenses
One of these things is not true larping faggot. If you have taxes of, what, over €300 a month? then you must be earning somewhere around €2000 monthly literally anywhere in the Eurozone. You can afford everything you need and more on that. Lower your lifestyle a notch. Live within your fucking means. Stop trying to pretend you can live a middle class life.

If you are traveling for work there is no way you should be paying for that out of your pocket. Thats bullshit and your dad is ripping you off.

My university fee is 1100 a semester and i have to pay 1.1 within this month and another 1.1 within may/june. Then there is an appliance fee or whatever you call it, which awaits me in october and it’s about 700. Then I need to pay for gas as I said, and most of the stuff I use everyday except for food. Also insurance kicking in this month and next month my yearly gym fee which is another 140. Enough?

that sucks bro, I work for my dad, he pays fuel, gave me his truck, and gives me 30$/hr, my wife doesnt even work, just chills with the kids, maybe you should kick your dads johnson.

Another wild thing happened a couple years back. Once he paid me 600 instead of the usual 800 hundreds. My birthday came and my parents gifted me 200 euros. They said those 200 had nothing to do with work buy it’s so fucking infuriating. Those 200 hundreds are (usually) my fuel cash.

Once we fought over this stuff. I lived by my grandparents for 3 weeks but my money were running short and so I had to go back to work for him because I didn’t find anything else in my area. We settled for a small increase in my wage and I had to apologize on paper. I wrote a 2 pages essay lol

your dad sounds fucked in the head.
start looking for other work on the side.
jobs are everywhere, you just gotta know where to look.
learn how to manipulate the system. govts have shit like rent assistance etc.
the fact you're living with your parents means you dont need to report the full 1.5k you're ""earning"". Tax wise, you're a dependent in their household. Talk to a tax guy and get that shit sorted.

Pretty hard as it seems you've learned nothing up to this point.

Many of these are luxuries.

You can defer your study until you are not in debt. You don't need the gym to get fit. If you hadn't already saved up for your semesters tuition you are approaching higher education all wrong. 'most of the stuff I use everyday' is super vague and almost certainly is more luxuries than necessities.

Lower your lifestyle a notch. You're only fucking yourself.

If travel is between home and customers or work and customers your employer is obligated to cover those costs under EU law. If you are being taxed for it your employment is official. You must demand that your father pays the expense of work-hours travel and if he fires you for demanding your rights you can file for unfair dismissal. If you are unwilling to defend your rights you are fucked by nobody but yourself.

Sound advice.
