I hate the idea of living a long life, but I would have to accept out of a sense of duty to the world. I would feel audacious for refusing the privilege as well, despite the liklihood of viewing it as a curse later on.

OP Here: Immortality Via Ressurection, you are immune to diseases & old age but you can die by everything else. As soon you die you will just be revived as a 1 year old

If I look the same for the duration sure I would take it, if I look older and older then at the age of 568 I looks like I could turn to dust then no.

Immortality =/= Invulnerability. You'd be injured as hell, likely paralyzed, and in great pain, but your immortality would keep you alive through all the suffering.

You stop aging right now, so the age you are right now is how you will look in 1000 years if you haven't put a bullet in your head already

In that case i would take it, really no downside in this scenario

1) Tell anyone I wanted of the power.

>I am now known as an immortal being

>Be revived as a 1yo free of charge or consequence
3) Become known as a God just for fun
>See Step 1 but with the masses
>Before dying write down a secret and complex symbol, devote it to memory
>Hide symbol from the world in a place they will not know how to reach
>Proclaim that this symbol will show that I am the resurrected "God"
>After resurrection, re-draw the symbol
>Go back ASAP and show the world the new drawing compared to the old
>Everyone knows it's me again
>Repeat ad infinitum, live the life of a God
>If I don't feel like being God for a while, KMS and don't reappear with the symbol for a life or two

Not OP, but I'd assume after the extinction of all HUMANS, you'd be born to the next-most sentient animal to exist. If the extinction of all life on EARTH occurs, you'd be born to aliens and repeat the processes. If all life in the UNIVERSE happens, then you finally get to die.

How? You are only immune to Diseases & Aging. You can still die by suicide & when you die you just get ressurected from Age 1

Immortality would be cool at first, but just think. after millions of years youll still be here, even if everything else isnt.

Most of the time it would suck.
