My daily watch is a seiko 5 on a leather strap, and I fitted it with sapphire instead of the original hardlex

I received an Orient Bambino as a birthday present. I love automatic watches now and will be buying either a Hamilton Jazzmaster or a Seiko 5.

I got it at a local watchmaker, genuine leather costs about 7 bucks and top grain leather costs anywhere between 10 and 20 bucks but it's worth it because the original strap is just awful it really pulls out every hair that gets anywhere near it. You can also replace the original glass for sapphire for about 15 bucks.

I got my calatrava used for about 7 thousand. Papers and all, looks and works new. Any decent jeweler will have a used calatrava for under 10k.

Recently bought my first Seiko 5 and I love it so far. I even like the metal bracelet, though I´m usually a fan of leather wrist bands. Still I swapped it for a black leather band and it looks even better.
Speaking of cheap automatics, I also like my Amphibia diver. I recently swapped the two-piece-NATO for a canvas band, but I don´t have a pic of that.
