You know that you're supposed to use a glass tablet under the sample, and a very thin glass cover OVER the sample, right ?

So you should be able to look at your semen without having to wipe it from the objectives (because the cover will have protected them)...

use anything. grab random objects, pencils, pens, etc etc and see how many germs are on the surface of each thing
