Volunteering is a good shout, I used to do that and it did give me purpose and satisfaction.

I've had suicidal thoughts since I was a kid, so you may need to factor that in.
But even of you don't, it kind of sucks in the sense that my boss continually comes up with bad, poorly-timed ideas and is very disorganised; which fucks my day up quite often. Additionally, nearly all of my workmates are dead set knuckle draggers; which can be a bit soul-crushing at times. But then again if I could do better then I wouldn't be there, either; so I can't really point my finger too much... reflecting on that also means my self esteem taking another hit, too.
But it also means I have more than twice the money I had before and it does make me more mobile... considerably so. I can register and fuel my car without any worries at all; which is handy. I was living with my brother a few years back, I've lived with a couple of mates around town since then, but recently I had to move in with my mum. No matter where I do end up, being employed means I can financially contribute to whatever household I'm living in and still have significantly more money for other endeavours; whatever they are. It also means that I'll be able to move on to my next home much faster and easier than I could have done on the dole.
Yeah working crappy jobs means you take a hit, but almost everybody takes lots of them sooner or later as jaded as I've been with various jobs over the years I still prefer it to the dole. The money is shit and people treat you even worse; making assumptions about you without ever trying to substantiate them.

I am poor but at least I work for my money.
Working six days a week and knowing some of my taxes go to shit heads like you is a tad annoying though.

Thats why I don't ever want to pay taxes. I don't understand why people feel good if they do wageslave tier jobs. If your job is fun and you are not only doing it for the money, but thats rarely the case nowadays.

At least you have a 1080 Ti. I also have a 2nd Ryzen PC and a Samsung 4K TV. Its all possible, even as a NEET, just don't cry that you don't have money left when you spend everything on drugs/"friends" or similar things.

I bought my 1080ti at release. I am surprised even now it is still one of the best cards due to Nvidia skimping out on the performance of the newer cards.

Even though I am poor I still put into a 401k...which actually lost money since the market sucks but my job matched half of what I put in so I actually gained money despite the drop in the market.

I am also saving up for a 20% down payment on a house.
In another year or so the housing market should drop and maybe then I can find a dinky 2 bedroom house for 200k.

I did too. I don't regret it a single bit, though I barely use it now. Its still the second best card if you don't count ultraexpensive Titans. But a PC alone doesn't make you happy, I use my PC mostly for internet work and AOE 2. The new games are mostly shit.

I could do my fucking job drunk and I am able to save half my paycheck to do with what I want after paying off everything else.

I even get free food and lunch is under paid time.
I take 25 minute breaks twice a shift so I get almost 1 hour and 30 minutes of down time in an 8 hour shift that barely feels like work.

I get great medical/dental/vision insurance and a great 401k package.
