Not really. The German army of 1942 was larger and more powerful. They were also never able to concentrate all their forces because of having to defend against the British. The Soviets fought hard but were greatly aided by the allies with gas and trucks. The US gave the Soviets 3 times as many trucks as the Germans produced during the war. That’s a big deal.

No it wasn't. The Wehrmacht was gutted of most of their veterans trying to take Moscow in the first winter. The Wehrmacht ended up having to concentrate their remainder veterans into 6th Army to continue operating with a spearhead. The Wehrmacht was larger in 1942 but it was a shell of its former self. Most of their veterans that they gained from years of training and operating in other parts of Europe were dead or turned into permanent casualties by 1942. By 1943 their entire mililitary was essentially Green

The Wehrmacht was turned into an over-rated meme thanks to Hollywood and History Channel, which Amerimutts confused as having any historical truths, narrative or otherwise.
1) The Wehmacht wasn't even mechanized. They relied on 600k horses pulling wagons in the beginning of the Eastern Front to supply all their logistics to the front line, which they increased to 2 million horses over the course of the war. This gave them a maximum logistics extent of 500 miles from the German border which is why they weren't able to get fuel or even winter clothing to the Battle of Moscow. It's why they ran out of fuel in the second Summer offensive without even facing much resistance. The maximum extent of the German army was just 500 miles because they were running with WW1 logistics abilities
2) Contrary to pol-tard misinformation, the Wehrmacht began the Eastern Front with the most help. The Wehrmacht invaded the USSR with the resources and help of its allies, including roughly 2 million troops. The USSR, however, didn't get much aid at all until the 6th Army was already besieged in Stalingrad. 85% of lend-lease arrived at the front lines after the world was pretty much aware that Germany was going to lose the war and the 6th Army 3was dying in Stalingrad
3) The real casualty rate in combat was roughly 1.3 Soviet soldier to every 1 German. The crazy Soviet soldiers deaths are largely thanks to the POW camps the Germans constructed where they left the Soviet soldiers in open camps and they starved by the hundreds of thousands. The German soldiers were better drilled than the Soviets, they were better tactically, but the Red Army had a better military doctrine called Deep Battle Doctrine which the Germans never adapted to.
4) The zerg rushing is a meme, the Wehrmacht outnumbered the Red Army in battles and in commitment into the Eastern Front until 1943 when Germany started running dry of new recruits.

Part of the Deep Battle Doctrine of the Red Army had them faking military build up across the entire front line of the Eastern Front. The Wehrmacht had incredibly bad intel and mistook this faked military build up for realsies and consequently divided their forces to defend the length of entire front. The Red Army would then start probing attacks to find the weak points and then commit to the ones they found, and pushed into the Wehrmacht's backline and surrounded their forces.
From the Wehrmacht's perspective, they were outnumbered by ridiculous numbers because it seemed to their commanders the Soviets had manned the entire length of the front and were attacking everywhere at once,

yes. While the Wehrmeme focused on pumping out new prototypes, the Soviets focused on streamlining working designs to have them manufactured in greater quantities with less reliability issues than the German designs.
Also the Soviets had better tank tech. The Germans couldn't even produce lighter weight aluminium engines or diesel engines.
The only things the Germans could do better than the rest were rockets (a meme), assault rifles (actually good) and producing synthetic oil (actually good)

1 Just because they started with horse pulled artillery at the invasion of poland doesn't mean they weren't mechanized. Dozens of divisions were turned into panzer divisions by the end of the war,with some even upgrading to SS divisions.

There were veterans trying to take moscow, but a pretty good number were already lost elsewhere. A good number of the German veterans(and men in general, i think 1/5 casualties were attributed to cold) lost on the eastern front were lost to the cold. And then even more than necessary were lost because the Fuhrer insisted on no retreat in far too many circumstances. I don't think the red army winning was a testament to the strength of the red army's strength//discipline/skill, but more that the Wehrmacht came ill prepared for Russian winter and that Stalin and the Russians had far more men to lose and were more than willing to lose them, and that those men had winter coats.
Even with their "entire army" being green by 1943, the German army still caused the russian army to lose twice as many men as they did, and they captured a similar number to the russians.
The meme about WW2 was the holocaust. The gas chambers were over-exagerated, and then soviet war crimes were ignored. They executed german POWs with a bucket of water.
In the last days of the war, most of the german conscripts were boys under the age of 16. The British and Russian army executed many of them after they surrendered without firing a shot.

Many mistakes were made.
Opening the Eastern Front before the fall of Britain was fatal; but defeating Britain without a Navy would have been challenging, too.
Hell, they might have defeated Britain if Hitler didn't have a knee-jerk reaction to their strategic bombing. He drew bombers away from strategic targets like airfields and factories and had them bomb cities in retaliation.. and so the Royal Air Force recovered.

It was all about railways; but the Russians had an incompatible gauge and there was a lot of sabotage.
You are correct beyond that however.
What few trucks and half-tracks they had were used to make infantry keep pace with Blitzkrieg advances.
