First of all Yea Forums is a privately owned corporation, so they're gonna do whatever the fuck they want (within the confines of the law of course)

Second of all porn is good money for them, so they'd need a real good reason to ban it, more than just a handful of loud bible thumping extremists. Like a majority of people asking for a ban isn't even enough, it would have to convince Hiro or at least his janitors and mods

Third the appeal of this site is anonymity, it's one of the few places where you can go and spout unpopular shit and exercise free speech in a way that doesn't get you fired from work or banned permanently from public office, or publicly shamed on twitter/facebook etc. People appreciate that you can be really honest here (or totally full of shit for that matter), that's the main appeal of the site. Take that away and what is Yea Forums? Not much different from facebook, reddit, Tumblr or anywhere else
