It's a nice medium sized town. Most people work for the prison system or Sam Houston State University, but there's a lot of other stuff like manufacturing plants and such depending on what you're looking for. Land is getting more expensive and taxes are high in this county but we also take pretty good care of the roads and everything so I can't complain.
