Only the Trump administration would tout no *new* indictments as a win. All those other people who lied to give him cover? Ah well - can't make an omelet without breaking some eggs right?
Clearly I'm no fan of his, but any left-wing morons who pinned their hopes on the report itself sending him to jail are desperate and clueless.
That being said, this is far from over. Mueller is smart enough not to stoke the fires of divisiveness any further and allow one side or the other to claim that he's partisan (he's as Republican as they come and yet some will still call him a liberal shill). That's exactly what would happen if he specifically recommended Trump or any of his family be indicted.
Instead he's farmed out all the work that follows his report, most importantly, the SDNY.
So ya - if you were hoping for Trump to get shit canned while in office - stop holding your breath. But if doesn't win a second term, no one can save him from the butt fucking that comes next.
