Hey Yea Forums I posted about this game a long time ago. We used to have a clan in it and everything. Be sure to use a actual email or since you have to validate email adress
Hell Rising is a post-apocalyptic browser-based MMORPG inspired by Urban Dead. The game is set within a quarantined city of which the inhabitants have been mutated by a special type of fungal infection. You can play as either a human, zombie, or a unique infected type known as a vampire. You may choose to attempt survival as a human, or hunt those that do as one of the undead, but death only means you continue your existence as a different kind of monstrosity.
As for where to head, if you are human I'd possibly suggest buildings like schools or supermarkets. They are large buildings and vampires sense abilities dont work in them. Also if we could get some way to work together that would be good to I'd advise new human players to start off as maybe carpenter to have barricading abilities or maybe vagrant since it gets you one step closer to hide abilities. If we can organize and work together though a mix of every starting class would be good
I didn't realize you wanted me to convince you to try it. It kinda seemed you came here to ask me how much they pay me, which they don't.
If you want to try it, feel free, its not like you have anything to lose if you have never played a text rpg before youm ight like it, if not oh well. If you have played these types of games, its probably one of the more fast paced ones, with nearly double the features of similar games like urban dead or shartak. I am going to assume you have played neither though maybe im wrong
I havent. I played some shitty vampire-werewolf browsergame back when I was about 10 to 12 maybe. And then some space-farming-upgrading browsergame.
Both were absolute shit.
Maybe I will try it. But does it really make fun or is it more like "yea you will play it, it will be fun for the first few days and then after that it is kinda repetitive"
Oh was the vampire-werewolf game called bitefight? If so yeah that fucking sucked I played that when I was like 12 to
It depends. For sure some elements are repetitive. Death happens a lot so you do need to get revived and or vampified/zombified depending on what happens to you, and if you play as human you do spend some time searching for supplies. However there is quite a bit to try to do as you gain more skills. Build items, build bases to stop from being attacked, there are boss npcs you can kill for various items or just xp, hell if you want you can set fire to the whole city (pls don't do this though as people will come for you) Id highly suggest reading the enwbie guide as well as even the wiki to give yourself a general idea on whats in the game.
I'm not quite sure about the name. It may've been something among the lines of "bitefight" but I think it wasnt exactly that. But probably almost the same anyway.
I mean I won't give away on how to do it but yeah its kinda fun. Oh another neat thing is to try and keep the power plant running, there is a power plant in the game that powers the whole city, which affects humans accuracy and search rates so vampires and zombies always try to turn it off, its a bit of a constant struggle to keep the power on but its fun

I'm gonna be honest with you I've never actually read this shit. After the next chapter is done Ill switch to something else
Arguably doesn't do much. well it makes it so people have to repair the building before they can properly set up barricades I just set up cement walls around it though. People aren't getting in there
its a little different than a mud, has a bit more in terms of how it looks as its not all straight up text but yeah a MUD is the closest type of game I would use to compare it to something.
