A seat at the 24h of Le Mans for the slowest class (GTE AM) can cost upwards of 1M just for the race.
An F3 season starts to get close to a million.
Endurance championships can cost several millions, even pro karting can cost half a million a season for the world series.

It always depends how far you want to go into the rabbit hole, but generally speaking, if you want to drive in legitimate championships with any resemblance of importance, you gotta have some serious cash

I work for a union in the transportation industry. What you hear about unions being lazy and overpaid is not true where I work. We actually have very intelligent hard working individuals who focus on quality work and are really good at their various crafts.The pay is good, but it's actually less than what each craft would make if they pursued their industry standard outside the company.

The company tries to make us work faster, less quality, like a China production factory. But we push back and emphasize safety and quality, the end result being an incredibly reliable, clean and well maintained operation.

From having no idea how to turn off the engine, to driving with the car on fire for a couple of laps, to trying to brake while being towed and taking half the front end apart as a result, to mistaking the extinguisher button for the engine start button and so on and so forth.

I got the job thanks to a sort of trading school that made me do an internship in a racing team and then I handled it from there.

As a past patient I can say this is somewhat true but it is the CPA/CNAs that are typically assholes not the nurses. Social workers are hit or miss, one ward they won't talk to you at all, another they will talk to you everyday for a good amount of time.

Pretty much the staff is trained to keep authority over the patients, someone who is a cunt does this more naturally. In the end, most male patients could beat the shit out of staff. Security doesn't stay on the floor. Most staff are soyboys or women. A lot of patients are ex-cons, ex-military or people who lived on the streets.

We also do not give a fuck about working hours, were supposed to work 8 hours but we usually do maximum 6-7, sometimes we've just called it a day after 2-3 hours. I still get payed for the whole day. Our pay is also ridiculously high compared to what we actually do.

I'm a single employee for a family owned property management company. We have about 10 clients that have houses we care for. They only stay in them for vacation or half the year. I have full access to all the houses so I can go in as i please when they aren't there. These aren't just average income families either, they're millionaire's but mostly old. Anyway I've seen personal documents like SSN and email records leading to who knows what I don't get into any of it. Also our youngest family have young kids so with Yea Forums in mind I thought of how a pedophile would act and went into the youngest daughter's closet to find a whole drawer full of kids panties. I closed it laughing thinking about what you guys would do in my shoes.

no hoarders, but the worst case I had was when a guy had been laying on his kitchen floor dead for almost a month, and it was summer. There was this mixture of blood and body fluids all over the entire floor, it wasn't something you could just clean. We had to tear up the whole floor and some nearby cupboards, it was gross as fuck.

Also our most sketchy jobs is when the police ask us to help moving stuff from a house/apartment where a person is getting evicted. They usually have no place to go and the city is required to give them public housing, which is almost always much smaller then the house they couldn't afford to rent, and can't fit the furniture they probably got on credit. We move some of the stuff to their public housing but somethings we just take.

And yes, we either take stuff home if someone wants it, or we sell it.
