Never been a fan of the blatant abuse shit. Not like pure hugbox is neccasrily better, but I've always wished there were "happy endings" and rescue stuff more.
Like the Marble story being a prime example. A fluffy put through abuse and torture, but finding a loving home in the end. It was best of both worlds and had some actual depth to it.
It was way better than most of this gore-for-the-the-sake-of-it crap.

Marble was good. There was a green I remember on these threads too that was interesting. The one where the guy takes care of feral fluffies just enough to keep them alive and makes a colony in his back yard.

Probably how I would do it.
There should be a pill or injection that will sterilize fluffies, then that should just be used in mass to silently wipe out the species or infestation in a area.
Maybe make a powdered, edible version that can be mixed in with food. Buy some, sprinkle it in some cheap spaghetti, and just put it outside on a paper plate. Repeat around town.
