What is you definition of mainstream?

I mean, I was listening to some British and Russian sludge metal earlier (Foreboder and Ad Nihil). I apparently don't listen to music that anyone i meet in real life has ever heard of.

I really like jazz.
Not too complex, just drums, a piano and a contrabass. Preferably on the slower side.
