"Attention seeking" is what retards say everytime someone goes on a rant. It's basically a buzz word. If it were like facebook, that's another story.

But the rest still stands. OP is getting attention. He's getting responses to his message. Which qualifies as attention.
And getting attention is easy. Even just looking at someone in the streets qualifies as giving attention to that person.
