If computer RAM is so fast why isn't the whole computer made of RAM?

Ok, think of yourself wearing a backpack. A CPU is more or less your brain. RAM is your arms. The backpack is a HDD/SSD.
All more RAM does is give you more arms to take shit from the backpack.

You can only tell 1 arm to do one thing at a time, by the time you have told the first arm to grab something and moved onto the next arm, your first arm will have already grabbed the item and will be ready for new instructions. Pretty sure this is why we only have 2 arms to begin with. Your entire analogy is just falling to pieces.
