People don't know what they want. In the days on instant gratification, what they think they want is everything all at once. What truly makes dozens of people happy every thread thanking me and having fun banter and speculation is how I do it, those that can't take it get directed to google where it is quite literally three clicks away.

Nope, all consistent. I start from the beginning for new people and it's easy to follow for them and I answer questions along the way. Halfway through threads devolve into basic (understandable) questions about what the fuck is happening because we skipped the introduction. First off, read the thread. When people asked for sauce I calmly explained that early sauce kills storytimes, and they agreed and stayed. The one guy who had to leave early got directions to find it, either by going on eightchan /rule34/ or the archive. I was extremely polite and accommodating.
