I started playing Apex Legends because my friend told me it was from the same guys who did Call of Duty 4 and I really enjoyed it. It's just a fun game I don't have to put hours of my time into. I bought Red Dead Redemption 2 and didn't even finish it because I'm too busy to set aside hours to progress a story. So maybe that's why kids like it? I'm not really sure. Just my two-cents.
