I can pick any dataset of my choosing, it's for a data-mining subject so I'll have to 'mine' it with a few algorithms and discuss the results in a 15 page report. Not looking forward to the report bit. I guess what I'm really looking for in a dataset is one that's sufficiently large for data-mining but not too complex, and one based on a subject that I could understand. One of my previous subjects we were given a wine tasting dataset for example. Thinking of finding something similar

Yeah, it isn't fun, but it also sucks because of how addictive benzos are. I told myself I would be careful with mine, and did well for almost 2 weeks, then felt like shit and took like 6.25 mg over a few hours. Then even worse today and 6.75 mg all at once. I'm out now, but I should get some more on Monday, then go back to my mom's house to get more weed and be fucked up all day long.
They're pretty fun. I guess we're going to make it a Saturday night thing in case you ever want to join. It's a lot more chill than you think, even I'll come in anxious then I'll realize "oh yeah, I'm around my furends" and chill out.

Never really felt the addictive side of valium myself. I'd still take it often though, just because how relaxed it can make me feel. I guess that's considered an addiction? I probably wouldn't have much trouble stopping, but then I'd actually have to deal with anxiety again which wouldn't be fun. Because I don't have an unlimited supply I've just been saving it up for sleepless nights.

It depends on the kind of feeling you like. High doses just make you feel numb, you lose, inhibitions, you stop caring about everything. At high doses + large bowls = pure euphoria. It typically doesn't last all that long, and is very "dirty" so to speak, but it makes you super chill and stop caring, almost like an opiate high. Benzos aren't addictive by themselves because they don't do shit: combining with other substances like weed can make them much stronger, addictive, or with alcohol or opiates it can be downright fatal. That's what makes them cause overdoses. I honestly probably won't get any sleep tonight even after finding one last melatonin.

Low anxiety is what I like to take them for, doesn't really take long before they work which is great. I use them to try and be productive to an extent. They help me not over-think things so much.
I've never really been one to abuse stuff though. I do genuinely need it so I can't really take that risk. Even at a low dose they do make stop caring so much about whatever crap is on my mind. Now I just need some medical miracle that lets my brain naturally synthesise the stuff so that I can be calm like some hippie all the time. That'd be pretty great

They help at .25mg for me, rarely do I need a full .5mg.
It's hard to not take that risk with a history of substance abuse, crippling depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, god knows what else. I take whatever I can to numb myself and forget about everything. But eventually you won't need it anymore, you're not even supposed to take benzos for more than 6-8 weeks because of build up of tolerance. I can confirm that daily exercise does help one mentally and physically, and hopefully you continues getting better. But coming off of them I've heard is a nightmare. Shockingly, taking all 30mg in 6 days didn't give me any withdrawal symptoms, but I tend to have less severe withdrawals for things than most. I'd say keep taking it until you're really confident enough, ask you doctor about lowering your dose, and taper off. When you feel you need to, that is.

It's going to take a long time until I'll manage to make another one this large sadly.
That's about 1/3 of life size right there, which allowes for details but makes it an insane amount of work. Probably around 15h of work for this one.
Also I suck at making lineart, so tracing is the only option right now.

It's honestly not all that difficult though, with a little practice.First I traced the lines onto the canvas by printing it (on four pieces of paper stuck together), then using a light to shine through the paper and the canvas and tracing the lines with a pencil. Then I painted everything black. This part took by far the most work obviously, but it's standard color so at least breaks are possible. Important tricks here are cleaning the brush very often and using relatively fresh paint (not the gunk that has been drying out for hours on the pallet) when it gets detailed. Then finally come the colors. Here hittiing the right color does take a lot of attempts at first then it gets better. For instance, the purple on Lori's top was supposed to become the one for Onyx's top but I fucked it up and accidentially nicely hit that one. Here only practice really helps. Best to use cheap paint so it doesn't feel wrong.
Problem with the color part is that very little of that is actually straight from the tab and the paint dries withing a few hours at most. Hitting the same color again may be hard, so I prefer to do this in one go if possible.
Really, a little practice and a lot of patience is all it takes.

The thing I hate about these threads is that its 90% of the same images reposted over and over. I see images from over a decade ago still being recycled in lower and lower quality. I've got a folder with almost 5k S/fur on my phone and a folder on my computer with around 10k images, but growing it is becoming pointless because of so many dupes. Even finding images that people have just traced or stolen just to shitpost as their own work. I think I'm gunna call it quits here, not enough new content.

Painting is far, far beyond my expertise. Just a week ago I broke out my sketchbook for the first time in at least 5 years (which I never used anyway) just to draw a band logo because I was bored. It turned out much better than expected for my first 'real' drawing, but I probably won't be painting any time soon.
