And even if you had gun with you there's no guarantee you'd be able to stop the shooting. Unless you've got some kind of training, you probably aren't going to react well to this sort of situation. You're not going to immediately pull your gun and start shooting back, you're probably going to be confused and freeze up. And unless you have experience using a gun in real life-or-death situations, you're going to be an absolutely terrible shot.
