Both my parents failed becuase of bad financial choices

no dude cos it's not fucking 18years ago, things are different now, you don't have to repress yourself these days, just do your studies, you'll do fine and also this is the start of your life man, these past 18 years do not reflect the rest of your life. move away from your parents, you'll basically automatically make friends with people you spend time around, just introduce yourself. then you have a support network of people who don't even know your parents, so start taking lessons from them, and do your own research into positivity. The ability to let go of shit that is holding you back is key. Accept the past, figure out what it taught you, then get on with living your life man- the world is a playground, go see some art, make some music- just don't get locked into life as you know it cos I guarantee our experience is less that 1% of what life has to offer you- better exists, go find it

Plus because of my parents stupid idea to homeschool I'm socially awkward because I lost out on like 4 years of socialising. That's why I'm basically fucked.

you're at a bit of a social disadvantage yeah possibly,but you can make up for lost time, 18year olds are much better than they used to be in terms of not bullying anyone remotely vulnerable, you'll meet cool people who respect you, there will be someone else who grew up on benefits bro, I'm one of them. Trust there's people who were not homeschooled who will be just as awkward as you, but remember awkwardness only exists in your head, if you just act like it's not awkward it totally disappears. just try to chill, you've got time to get better at stuff, be nice to yourself most of all- if you're struggling to be fully social, it's ok, try again next time. it's important to have a chill attitude, fretting about stuff is just another thing holding you back. take a deep-ass breath and let shit go

First-off, bud, realize that having a house and raising kids while working is very fucking difficult. Then come to the conclusion that having been in this scenario will only make you tougher and realize that life is not that bad. Your parents didn't make mistakes, if they did then you would be one of those mistakes. Keep your head down and keep working hard.
