Bought these 130$ (CAD) Rig600 headphones and they work kinda good but they state that they are soundproof.
BUUUUUULLSHIT
I'm just chilling at my desk right now and since it gets hot in my small room I have the fan on me. ALL I CAN HEAR IS THE GODDAMN FAN. Was I a retar to buy these headphones?
Yes your retard for buying them you're not editing sound you don't know how to edit sound you're some neat playing video games you don't have any need for expensive headphones and you're just paying the headphone Jew.
Bentley Jenkins
Well I mean no matter what I didn't pay for them they were a gift (Should have stated that) So they can be shit but I needed new ones cause my crappy Razer Kraken went Kaput after I raged 1 too many times and wiped them at the wall.
Pic related, me after wiping those niggers at the wall
Calling someone a retard then imagining you can edit sound properly with headphones.
Priceless.
Jaxon Ward
You fuckin nigger the headphones literally say on the box they are for gaming
Carson Ortiz
They are universal I guess. I have every current gen console on the market + a PC so I thought it might have been a good deal
Ryder Nguyen
Keyboard: $20
Keyboard with "Gaming" written on the box $75.
Anyone that buys things labelled "Gaming" deserves what they get.
Mason Morgan
stop buying gaming headsets they are the biggest rip offs in the headphone and audio industry go for a decent pair of headphones and a clip on mic for half the price and twice the quality
Jace Carter
>because theyre really going to say 'absolutely cannot be used for gaming'
Theyre headphones.
Noah Turner
Ok maybe I'm just retarded but It could be that the fan is just really close and it would be actually impossible unless I was deaf to not hear the fan
Landon Morgan
When mastering down, you're still gonna use headphones. You need to have it isolated and in your head to pick up tiny details you might miss on the speakers.
Please report to your nearist mosque for termination with the rest of the trash
Charles Lopez
And headphones have a range of different uses. Instead of spunking the money on a headset because of an arbitrary label, do some research.
Learn about driver sizes, frequency response ranges etc etc.
Any retard that blows cash on a product with zero knowledge of said product deserves to get raped for the cash.
Josiah Morris
No mixing engineer will ever use headphones. End of discussion.
No matter what you buy its just gonna break in time. Consumerism is just a ploy too get us idiots too bring food too the hand that feeds us (Higher ups) and they shit out that food and we eat it. No matter what you buy its just plastic SHIT and your an idiot for not learning how to craft items out of 2 sticks and three cobblestone. Go learn how to become a manufacturing machine you idiot lol
Nathaniel Sanders
True that.
No mastering engineer would use them either. Can't guarantee the mix or master will sound good on speakers unless you use monitors.
Joshua Price
Beyerdynamic makes very good Headphones. You should check them out. I use the DT990 they are freaking great and are just 160€ here in Germany
Cooper Ward
That's why research pays off. You can get more for your money.
Jayden Gomez
Sorry I didn't do my research I built my PC my self out of some mud and a stick I found in the woods
Connor Phillips
Lol, no. People use headphones to mix because they can't afford the appropriate monitors to actually mix.
Nathaniel Hill
Music be like
Oooowowooowoowwwwwwwooooooowwowowoooo
Gavin Clark
Yes you are a retard. Return them and get the HyperX cloud ii, same price but amazing isolation
Anthony Collins
And those people mix in bedrooms, produce shitty sounding music and will never amount to anything.
Eli Jackson
Andrew Schepps works exclusively on headphones and a laptop, entirely ITB. I would be interested in hearing your work considering you have such astute opinions on the matter? There are headphones that have better fidelity, imaging, phantom centre and flat response than their counterparts for the same price - and thats not even including the money you can save on acoustic treatments.
4k on a good pair of headphones will get MUCH better results than 4k on monitors and acoustics.
You think you cannot make a radio ready mix on headphones? Even though there are literally grammy winning mixes made on headphones?
It is absolutely untrue that headphones cannot be used to mix or master. The *ENTIRE* point of your translation device is a thorough understanding of how it is MEANT to sound.
If you know how a perfect mix sounds on Beats and you have the competence to do so, then you can make perfect mixes on your Beats.
I have spoken to Andrew in person about this topic.
Gabriel Turner
Get Sennheiser. It's the industry standard for audio production in studio for a reason.
Sound design requires headphones because room noise factors into the listening experience. Most of the people saying headphones wouldn't be used are either misinformed or spouting bullshit.
If you require more evidence you can look for it yourself - it is easy to find.
Nolan James
Audio-Technica, AKG, Sony, Shure.
Sennheiser is far from the /standard/ in audio production.
Daniel Robinson
In principle a very good advice, but as OP is looking for something more soundproof, the closed DT770 would likely be the better alternative to the open DT990.
Matthew Sullivan
In fact, the highest quality studio headphones I have seen were made by AKG.
Jayden Perez
Better get some headphones and a decent mic seperately Beyerdynamic DT 880 Pro, V-Moda Crossfade some closed back sennheisers
Adam Bell
I use Audeze LCD 4's. I would recommend them to anyone who has the money.
Ethan Thompson
I own the Kingston Hyper X Cloud II Headphones. They have a removable mic. So you can take it off and use them as regular headphones. They cancel noise pretty damn good. $99.99 brand new. Worth every penny.
