It's not in the video but you can see people trying to hide from the gunfire. No doubt there were some protecting others from it. Same as the guy who managed to knock down the gunman but only temporarily.

I don't know what you consider a hero but anyone trying to protect others and take down the gunman are heroes. No doubt you'd just cower in the corner and get shot and be done with it. The fact you have little understanding of what makes a hero is because you watch too many DC comics movies.

I've seen the video. You sound sheepish to me. The guy clearly wasn't running out the door as you put it. Logically no one would run at a gunman without the intention to stop them from what they are doing.

Uh ok. The gunman got knocked down, watch it again. The guy who charged at him got shot a few times before even making it at him. No one in their right mind would think they can run past a gunman by running right by them, "oops excuse me mr gunman just leaving out the front exit", you are clearly an idiot.

flight or fight, you said it yourself, if it was flight it was in the wrong direction. It was a fight reaction but a person without a weapon will always lose in a gunfight. Doesn't make him a non hero. If you look at most life threatening situations, it's usually people trained in medicine or firemen, cops etc that have the natural reaction to "help". I'd say this man tried to be a hero but failed for obvious reasons.
